I wish i could give a neutral rating, but alas steam does not have that option. Very much an early access game. In the future perhaps this would be worth purchasing but as it is, there is no reason to play it. Lacking any story means that there is no drive to invest time. The good, Seems to just be a nice 2D ARPG. Many different weapons, i ran into at least 20ish in my thirty minutes of playing, Each have their own special which seemed to feel different than the others. The bad, mostly just things that need work. This is in early access so i hope that all of this will be addressed as time goes on. Settings, video defaulted to 1920x1080 not fullscreen and required me to edit the settings in order to see the full screen right away. No tutorial at the start to tell you what to do, or what the different areas do. Consider starting us in the God hall to make it obvious. Selected God Hall. Appears that you start with one character and can unlock 3 others currently. Does not reveal the characters play style until you unlock them. 100 stages will give you enough in game currency to unlock the next character. You do start with enough to unlock one of the locked classes. The second character is supposed to be a type of mage. Did not unlock the others. Appears to be a hidden cooldown on your basic attack. Game shows you your cooldown on the weapon special attack, but not on your primary. I would like a more impactful sign of being on low life, im not looking at my hp bar, im looking at the fight. Perhaps even just a smaller health bar above your character. Ran into the issue of running out of mana, while you might regain some from the mobs you kill it does not seem enough on the mage class at least. Got to stage 1-5 and had no mana left to deal with the enemies. This was also with me using the wells when they were available in the earlier stages. Does not currently appear to have any storyline in place.
