It's a good game for what it is, it seems a lot of the neg reviews are people expecting it to be something different. It's not a 1st person shooter, it's strategy. If you played Commandos years ago and liked that then this is along the same type of game. Hoping they come out with another to continue the story.

This is pretty awful. Such a wasted opportunity.
Dialogue sounds very stilted and AI Generated. Controls and Gameplay are un-intuitive.
This may change if you play past the first level. But i will not be wasting my time to find out.

The controls are kinda jenky but the story is good. If your a stargate fan and happen to like tactical strategy then this game will be a good pick up.

Bit of classic strategy gameplay and the rich universe of Stargate makes this a fun time-sink... if you can stand the absolute cringe of there being a Meghan McCain insert character.

I can recommend this game but only to a very specific group of players. First you obviously have to love Stargate (but that is why you are reading this right?). Then you must be into Real Time Tactics games like Commandos, Desperados, Shadow Tactics and let's be honest that is a niche genre. You should also be fine with the fact that it is less polished than the mentioned games. And you should be ok with the fact that they included timed missions/sections. Achievements should also not mean much to you cause a few of them are broken. But if that's all fine with you than yes I think you can enjoy this game
