Great 3D platformer with an interesting morality system encompassed with paint and thinner. Even if you aren't a Disney fan this is great fun and quite the spectacle. Runs great and looks fantastic. Price is a little steep but definitely worth it on a sale.

Despite the game having the vulgar $60 Price Tag, I say it's incredibly fun!
THQNordic & Purple Lamp needs to remake the second game, stat.

This game was so much fun. I remember playing it on the Wii when I was a kid and it felt so nostalgic replaying it. The story, the graphics, the quests, the exploration was so much fun. As a now 26 year old playing this, I feel like I enjoyed it more now than when I was 11 years old playing it. The update to the game was great and it is well worth playing. The price is a bit much though, so I would wait for a sale :)

Game fun, minor jank, got stuck in a tree at one point and had to reload save to get out, but otherwise really good

I used to love the original on the Wii so getting to replay it again with newer graphics and a different style of play has been pretty fun. Would deff suggest to anyone wanting a fun platformer

I really like this remake. It really stuck to the source material of the original with some slight differences I like the Dash and Sprint even tho I never used the sprint that often. Mickey is a bit slower than the Og version but that's alright in my mind no biggie. but that is where the differences end for me I can't really find too much else different. Over all I love this game 9/10. I would recommend To anyone that does not mind Remakes or anyone who just loved the original Epic Mickey it really stuck pretty damn close to the Og source. You'll love I know I do.

this game is so fun and i love how much better the graphics are than the original because the old one kinda looks like it wants to come to my house take his brush, shoot thinner at me and shove me in a closet.

Amazing remaster of an already amazing game. My one complaint is that the visual style is a lot less grimy and dark than the original, which added a LOT to the atmosphere of the game. I would also probably recommend only getting this if it's on sale, as $60 is pretty steep, but it's not a complete rip-off.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a great game for the nostalgia. Played this when I was young on the Wii and booting this up after many years brought the joy back. The graphics have been given a proper rework and some gameplay has been adjusted well for PC gaming. The levels and characters are lovely and are fun to interact with during various sidequests.
When progressing through the game, you do end up doing a lot of the same actions and puzzles. The end of the game had an enormous amount of tentacle gameplay, which was very repetitive and tedious. The average Hentai porn video has less tentacles than the climax of this game, which says enough.
Overall, it was still a blast to play this gem of my childhood and I would highly recommend it for those who are looking to take a trip down memory lane.

For a while in my day to day life I had been using the word "ambivalent" improperly. However, I think that may be the way to describe the way I feel about this game. I certainly don't regret spending my money on this game, but that's probably because I got it for around a third of the price during the steam summer sale. I had very fond memories of playing the original on the Wii as a barely sapient amoeba so I thought why not try to actually beat is a full grown adult? And so I did. While I did find myself enchanted by the new coat of paint -- almost absorbed in nostalgia -- as I progressed further towards the end I felt a strange neurosis taking over me. I had grown so much since what was probably my first platformer that when offered the new tools of movement this game had I found myself unchallenged for the whole game, Maybe the only thing I was challenged by was finding the pins and concept art, but that was only because a lot of areas become completely inaccessible after you go through them if the game doesn't deem them a hub area (which is annoying and kind of lame). Kudos to the lengthy list of artists and developers that worked on this game, it really does look quite amazing even if it doesn't fully stay true to the original's tone. In summary: it's a good game, amazing remaster, but it is held back by its lack of difficulty. Would've put stars in my eyes if I was a decade younger.
