Playtime:
1956 minutes
Recommening that, with a lot of buts.
Pros:
+ Real-time Combat itself is incredibly great - using buffs, debuffs and ailments is mandatory to get through
+ Lots of comboing opportunities due to that, quite challenging (with a special opportunity in lovlevel-runs to set things straight)
+ Walking through Dungeons feels refreshing due to some puzzles in them,=> not headache-inducing!
+ Approach of Open World is fine as is
+ looks good or a retro RPG, with a lot of work put in animations and immersion
Cons:
- sadly, Vote Friend/Foe is a big issue, hard to figure out due to the nature of the characters / and it was definitely not what it was advertised like
- speaking of the characters - most of them behave in a rather erratic way, making the hard to comprehend
- the story is okay, but not quite thought through - and even if, there are a lot of open ends
In short: It's not as bad as it looks like. One can work with the somewhat weird storyline and the erratic characters, but it's the combat wher JC starts to shine brightly.
