I purchased this game while I had the flu, it was a very nice and peaceful distraction from my misery.

its a fun lil game and overal very relaxing. But its sad that the book - the games progression - is finished so quick. There coudlve been more pages of multicoloured fish and or more cards than just 2 for certain colours. I finished in ~10h - some of the time spend being afk.

This is such a relaxing game to play. You can "beat the game" pretty quickly if you look up how it works or on subsequent plays after you figured things out yourself, but it's nearly endless how long you can sit and try to create your own special combinations of colors and patterns, perfecting things to look exactly how you want. I absolutely adore the way that you can save the fish and share them with other people, or save more than the in game book allows in a computer folder organized how you want. I love the element of semi-randomness while trying to create something where you can get different color mutations, and patterns can slowly start to shift from where you started. It's got at least some amount of realism with breeding real animals, albeit missing the nature of recessive genes that happens in real life. Some traits take a lot of tries to get, but it doesn't feel like a grind the way this sort of thing does in most games because of the tranquil game environment and just having a general feeling of taking your time, peacefully enjoying seeing your results. I purchased while it was on sale, but even at the standard price, I think it's a good buy if you want to play something really relaxing. While the amount of content is on the low side, it's got incredibly nice graphics and QOL user experience for such a cheap game.
