True Virus’s overall style and design is solid. Puzzles are pretty forgiving all things consider, but there is one that feels needlessly complicated (the cipher puzzle). The soundtrack is mute button bad in places and I think the story felt a little disjointed. Overall, I don’t necessarily think True Virus is a bad game. It’s just flawed and feels like something I won’t remember playing 6-8 months from now. I would still absolutely recommend this to someone who really likes spookier point and click adventure games like Sally Face, Earthworms, or Fran Bow. And I definitely would be interested in playing future games this developer releases.

I love the 'open-world' type of puzzle games where you have a choice of many places to go to and link all the clues and items together. I had a lot of fun playing it and it really got me thinking. I must admit, I had to pull up a walkthrough about three times for certain parts, the only suggestion I would add to the game is some sort of hint after some time where the character could say like 'hmm there was a item in this place' but other than that, I recommend this game a lot!

True Virus" is an indie point-and-click adventure that, while a little rough around the edges, offers a captivating experience. The game's atmosphere is immersing, drawing you into its intriguing story. The puzzles, while sometimes challenging, are satisfying to solve, and the overall playtime is just right. While the game could benefit from a bit more polish, its mysterious narrative and engaging puzzles make it a worthwhile experience for fans of the genre. "True Virus" is worth a try.

Great puzzle game with a twisted plot and story. Some good scares.
BEST ADVENTURE GAME I'VE PLAYED IN A LONG TIME
Who doesn't love a good zombie game? The game reminds me of Bad Dream: Coma, but with color. It took me almost 5 hours to complete this game, and when it was over, I was totally bummed because I just wanted to keep playing. I didn't even take screenshots because I was so engrossed in the game!   I didn't find any of the tasks to be illogical, but like any adventure game, you'll have to pay attention to clues and, most importantly, the dialog text! Nine times out of 10, the dialog text points you in the right direction.   Most of the "puzzles" are actually codes or passwords to unlock a multitude of locked doors within the Psychiatric hospital and the town. Yes, you will have to revisit scenes as new tasks unfold, or you finally find an inventory item to use, but that's part of the adventure, right!? I loved the Code Cipher puzzle and the final calculation puzzle because I really had to crunch some numbers using the 'ole grey matter!   My advice is to click on everything, read all the dialog, and jot down anything related to codes. If you can't figure out what to do next, revisit previous scenes to see if you might have missed something.
Note to the Developers
Well done! This is a fantastic game and I have been recommending it to all of my friends. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. 🧟‍♂️

MY REVIEWS
Click HERE for more Reviews by Pennmom36 Click HERE to check out our Steam Group

JOIN OUR FORUM
Click HERE to check out The Woods Forum
