Whilst the concept of rolling dice to spell out rude words and consequently get a high score is inspired and wonderful, you're unlikely to get much out of this if you can't read the Japanese letters on the dice and even less likely to get much out of it if you aren't playing it with friends or on a stream with a few viewers. Gorgeous presentation, mind. Keep an eye out for this developers upcoming game called "BUDDHA GO", it seems like it'll be more enjoyable solo.

There is zero merit to this game other than your fascination of japanese profanity. Gift this to someone you love the most.

The aesthetic and environment, from the graphics to the sound, is really well made, which is a perfect foil to the fact that you're trying to make dirty words with the dice faces.
The game is simple enough to jump into but also includes various tricks and techniques that improve its depth, allowing it to simultaneously be a casual yet engaging game.

OCHINCHINとは一体何なのか
我々調査団は、OCHINCHINを求めて、南米Amazonまでやってきたのであった
しかし、現地の言葉がわからなかった。残念ながら我々はOCHINCHINの正体をみつけることができなかった
誰かわかるものが意思を引き継いでOCHINCHIとはなにかを見つけてくれることを祈ろうではないか

It's the same as mahjong - just because you see all those clips with amazing and hilarious rolls, doesn't mean these will happen to you when you actually buy and play it. How does the game expect me to roll these words when I keep losing ~3 dice every single roll?
Sigh.

A great little gambling game. Where other gambling games have silly-sounding combinations like "Royal Straight Flush" or "Big Three Dragons", here you're hunting for the most refined combinations, OMANKO and OCHINCHIN.
GNU/Linux, kernel 5.12.10, Nvidia 465.31, systemd-less setup, Proton 6.3-4—works, no issues that I could detect.

This game embodies the idea of Japanese "wabi". The simple rules, based on Cee-lo, require no explanation and will have you hooked in less than a minute. And yet, the nudge system gives it a competitive edge, making it simple but profound.

You roll five dice with each face having a japanese character for MA, O, CHI, N, U and KO and the objective is forming combinations that spell vulgar words such as UNKO, UNCHI, CHINKO, (O)MANKO and (O)CHINCHIN. When you roll a word you get another roll, if you roll 2 or more words you get extra dice for the next roll. You also get a "nudge" for each word you get, which lets you re-roll the dice that are in the bowl.
Combinations of three or more of the same face of the die also apply multipliers to your score, but avoid three or more ん because then the multiplier is negative! Unless you're hunting for negative score achievements of course.
Overall a pretty fun and simple game. It does require you to remember the hiragana but it's just six and the dice are also coded so it's fairly easy.
