Great game, return often for a good adrenaline rush

classic arcade game, pretty fast, really fun to play

I picked this up at some point, I think for 50 cents or a buck. Normally retails for $2. There isn't much to it. You drive into on coming traffic, and try not to get hit. It's basically a score attack endless runner. There are things you can unlock such as different colored ridding suits for hitting point thresholds on your runs. You can look from a few different points of view. This is an ok little time waster, certainly worth what I paid for it. I mean, full price isn't that bad I suppose, it's meh. But if you want something mindless you can just pick up and put down on a whim, something to kill time now and again, then sure. It's alright. (I will say this thing has been getting constant updates while it sits in my steam library, but I'm not totally sure why, unless that has something to do with the leader boards. The game isn't ugly, but there isn't much to it that it should need tons of tweaking in patches)

Well that was one hell of a ride ! Seriously, this game is great, at least for me it is. It is rather quick to beat if your eyes don't get too tired (wouldn't mind a 100k achievement though, as I was able to achieve 50k in less than 20 attempts [most of them where I'd die almost instantly]). Maybe the ergonomy in the options menu could be better, we can't really see what button we're selecting. Overall the controls are great, it goes fast (I played using a Xbox 360 Controller),[spoiler]and you even get bonus optical illusions when you lose, you'll see your whole world getting distorted for a few secs ! [/spoiler] A number of death achievement could be added I guess ? Maybe some tweaks with other "circuits" or more musics ^^ ([i]on the 50k run it ended too soon sadly[/i]) [b]Good game, worth the 1€ ![/b] [spoiler]PS: Don't watch the booty or there won't be any boogie-woogie.[/spoiler]

It's a fun time waster. It's a bit addicting too. It'll teach you to get your eyes up and look farther down the road. Something they teach you at track days.

Endless drive and a very nice ass :3 ..what else you need :) ...you can even play it with one hand ...have fun and enjoy ........yourself !!

[h1]Gameplay[/h1] Dodge oncoming traffic and score points! You may choose between three difficulty levels, which dictate the speed of traffic and multiply the number of points you earn. Before entering the game, you can choose between "day or "night" -- this option appears to be purely cosmetic. Speaking of cosmetics, you can choose between bikes and outfits (or rather, [i]recolors[/i]) from the "Garage". These items are unlocked when target scores are reached (so [i]get gud mate![/i]) [h1]Story[/h1] There is no story (and I'm not making one up!) [h1]Visuals[/h1] The titlescreen looks great! It's animated and super stylish. From "Garage", unlocked cosmetics can be applied to the player character. For the time being, "Online" is blotted out -- no doubt an upcoming feature. Audio, display and resolution preferences can be adjusted from "Option". You may view global scores from the "Global Rank" menu. Considering most players may not be able to earn a place in global rankings, I think this game would benefit from a "Personal Rank" menu of sorts. I enjoyed the user-interface overall, although I'd like to see a toggleable, in-game score counter. [b]- The Goods -[/b] There is no adult content or nudity. . . but you know what'd make this game better?[i] Adult content or nudity.[/i] It'd be cool to see a DLC that would introduce new outfits, perhaps skimpier versions of what is already available. I saw them boobie physics -- let's put 'em to use, eh Devs? [h1]Verdict[/h1] I'd wait for a light sale, but if you're a fan of runner games you might get a kick out of [b]Cyber Rider.[/b] This game is very easy to pick up, but it'll surely test your skill -- and maybe even your patience. [b]Cyber Rider[/b] is not a friendly game for casual players. If you're not ready to grit your teeth, chances are you'll only see a few minutes of gameplay and unlock [b]nothing.[/b] This game would benefit from stronger incentives for casual players to reach for, such as increased cosmetics or even unlockable power-ups to lower the difficulty ceiling. In summary, [b]Cyber Rider[/b] is a barebones time killer that's worth a dollar ([i]or two[/i]).
