Played for 7 hours was more than enough. Good try for a 16 year old. Gets boring fast.
- Fly traps don't work is always 0 flies.
-Drill does nothing when right clicked on
-Door does nothing when right clicked on and never closes anyway
-Chicken coops don't give more chickens even if bar is kept in the middle. Easier to just pick it up and place it again for full restock.
-Trees stay fallen 50% of the time and need more chopping before they disappear.
-Wheat has no icon in inventory when fully grown and picked.
-Hippos don't mate and is no way to feed them.
-Why have solar panels for lights when lights don't work at night anyway? Pointless?
-Mobs are pointless and stupid and just stand at items until they are destroyed giving the player nothing in return just alot of repairing to do.
-Trees can be placed all the way round base and no mobs can get in.
-Tutorial should have a skip after the first time played. We don't need to see how to play after every new game. Intro scene is too long and should be able to be skipped after first time.
-Need a back button when crafting so don't have to press escape every time to go back
-Gets boring real fast. 1 type of animal and limited things to do that half don't even work.
Have replayed this game after changes were made and it has improved alot. Things actually work and is way more fun than before. I will write more as I progress further in the game.

Not ready for release. Needs an intro reading book or small help window, not some guy speaking in french, (which I do not speak or understand), to give a long video explaining mechanics and needs more content and building/crafting details per item so people understand what the item is, purpose its for, etc... Also the first day I had four men show up and had no weapon to craft to attack them. They destroyed everything.
10/2022 update:
So after Valentin Supiot, the young man who developed this game replied to my post and asked me to play the game again after he made some changes and improvements I out of appreciation and respect for someone who takes pride in his project, game or work of art I decided to check it out once more. I can tell he spent many hours to convert to English speakers and change the intro of the game play for noobs like me to navigate through the first steps by adding a tutorial window. That was helpful and easier to understand the functions and things we are supposed to do in the game. There were 3 main things I think can be improved on. First was that I needed bricks to make a doorway wall in the tutorial, (step 7 I think) Since I had used the bricks in my inventory prior by mistake, I couldn't make the wall and didn't know how to make bricks or exit the tutorial to bypass the step. If we could destroy items in the game and retrieve a percentage of the materials back which were used to create them then maybe I could have made the doorway/wall. But I don't think we can do that in the game. The second thing I couldn't figure out for awhile was how to drink. It was towards the end of my time playing the game, but I think I was able to drink out of the water collecting barrel I made, but can't recall. Not sure if that's how it is designed to work, or if we can carry around a bottle of water and drink out of that. The third thing was it seemed like the day went by real fast and I wasn't able to get much done in a day. So if you try to explore, you better make another safe house because you may not get back before night. I didn't progress far enough in the game to give a more experienced play through viewpoint though. Anyways, I can tell that Valentin spent many hours trying to convert the language and improving the game through a tutorial and game play. So a thumbs up for his goal and passion to be completed with success. And a thumbs up to help him reach that goal by encouraging other players to try it and maybe give him some good pointers to turn Grandiose into a fun game to play.
