Good gameplay, good idea, but you should fix the slow motion when the golden mouse is the last one, because if the player tries to attack it more than twice, they won't want to see slow motion if it's not dead yet

Albeit short (2 hrs approx), for one buck this is a decent little puzzle title
Line up the opponents so that you can leap frog over them one by one
Use shields to occupy spaces around you so that your opponent can not
leap frog over you.
And Bob's your uncle...and father too!

The game has an unenjoyable control scheme (one must drag each tile onto the field one by one with the mouse), bad English, and insufficient tutorializing. The latter was bad enough that I didn’t understand all mechanics by tutorial level 7.
Refunded.

I wish my cat was that brave, he just wants to sleep and eat all day lol
Good game though, I liked that you can lure mice with cheese, reminded me of some old cartoons.

The training levels are probably harder than they should be, but the rest of the game is pretty appropriate. Early game is more resource constraint, late game gives you a ton of resources to set up a solvable state but is more about figuring one out.

Puzzles are actually tough nuts to crack and the theme is nice.
However, the actual gameplay feels very janky and repetitive; It would be great if levels had more than one fixed solution. The story does not really add anything substantial to the game, and reloading the first stage after a fail feels annoying, because you'll always be prompted that section's mandatory story bit. Overall, meh.
100% completion boils down to beating the bonus levels and clicking some hidden objects.

Was really missing the undo button in the final level and the bonus level, both of which required setup. At the very least, it would be nice for the items to remain on the board after restarting the level in order to perform some minor adjustments without having to set everything up again.
Items cannot be placed underneath the characters - they have to be stepped on.
Cheese works only in setup phase - mice will not go for it after the run has started.
Other items can be moved during the run, so a little dexterity will be required but only in the final levels. There seems to be no pause mode to give time to switch items.
I struggled with it for almost nine hours, but some people appear to have played through it in a quarter of that time.

samurai cat (no relation to samurai pizza cats, nor samurai jack, despite the protagonist's name) is set in my kinda future, one where most cats are gone. the situation inevitably leads to an abundance of mice and the formation of the titular organization by the remaining mouse catchers. the player has to find out what happened to the other cats while systematically culling infected rodents.
there are 41 checkers-style levels unlocked one by one, meaning everybody can only move diagonally and over something. cheese acts as lure (more infected mice sporting a higher number have priority), shields as protection, and there are some other items later. there's a limited amount of them per level and the key is to position mice first, as you can't just stop midway through a killing spree, have to do the whole thing in a single chain of moves, otherwise it's game over.
shields don't protect you directly, but have to be placed 'diagonally behind' your character, so mice can't dash to that tile, killing you on the way, causing another game over. it can also be used to stop more infected mice from moving, forcing lesser ones to do so instead, and it can even be replaced between mouse moves, unlike food, which is obviously consumed.
stepping on a fan will push you or a mouse one tile in the direction its facing, and sushi is what spinach is to popeye or scooby snacks to scooby-doo, it makes you or a mouse more powerful with the ability to dash further, but moving through multiple enemies in one direction will only kill the first one.
the final chapter mixes things up a bit. mid-spree adjustments are necessary sometimes and it involves some quicker clicking, but everything can be planned ahead, thanks to your 'cat sense' telling you where the boss will move after getting hit.
the english translation is pretty bad, graphics are functional, music is okay but very repetitive. there are separate volume settings, windowed mode with a 1280x720 non-resizable window, and a level select screen. no undo is always a problem, but it's mostly tolerable here and overall the game is very good, plenty challenging and cheap, definitely worth trying.
