This is a very unique puzzle game. Its like sokoban, but better. You work to join yin and yang. Probably some underlying message about working together to create unity or something... but I'm just here for the puzzles. Recommended.

A classic "easy to play, tough to master" situation. Depending on how your mind is wired, the levels can range from gentle to extremely challenging (but fair!) by themselves. Factor in the "par" for each stage, and you have a whole extra level of challenge, should you seek it.
What I find to be a nice touch, though, is that you are fully allowed to turn off the portion of the HUD that tracks how many moves you've made. Yes, the game still remembers how many steps you take to complete each puzzle, so you can challenge your previous best efforts should you choose to, but if you DON'T feel like taking on that sort of challenge, you can put it out of your mind entirely, and... well, zen out.

edit: undo got patched in, so I flipped the review to a recommendation. also has keyboard controls.
yin yang is a simple sliding game with very basic presentation. the usual wall-to-wall action with white circles until they merge with immobile black ones. white circles block movement, as do completed yin yang symbols, but the white part can continue moving after merging, they're not glued together.
45 levels unlocked one by one, mechanics include switches that activate extra blocks and practically mandatory teleporters. simply completing a level is enough, but there's an optional move goal to aim for.
separate volume settings, windowed mode, resolutions, move counter toggle (doesn't go beyond 99 but you can keep playing), level number on the screen, proper level selection showing number of ideal moves and your best attempt, so it's all here. for a long time it only had mouse controls, sort of understandable with multiple circles to control independently, but in may 2023 keyboard movement got patched in.
it's short with a few tricky levels, going for perfects will take a bit of effort, but with unlimited undo patched in (right click), it's not as tedious as it used to be. it's okay for a dollar, if nothing special, there are much better sliding games around.
