5/10 Short and repetitive, but I suppose you can get it if you don't mind overpaying for a 1 hour experience. You get what is shown. The artwork is pretty good though the animation is very basic. Still not too bad. Wouldn't pay full price for it though. It's a bit disappointing they didn't do more with the rock puzzles or the conveyors. A lot of the game is just running back and forth until you get a key or hit a switch. It's just time consuming and not hard or interesting at all. A lot of the areas look so similar, I honestly got lost once or twice. Everything about it is generic rpg maker. You definitely can recognize most of the sprites used as well. The combat is extremely simple and they didn't try to innovate for the boss at all. Pretty unsatisfying. At minimum they could've had certain troops that can't be hit from the sides either. Or ones where you have to hit them from the front. Maybe even some that spin around and shoot? Point is that for 10 USD, it's kind of a steep price.

Dark Sphere by circle dorgel is a short, linear, and ultimately forgettable experience. The only standout feature is the art, which is gorgeous. However, the gameplay is shallow and repetitive, with little variety or depth. It's an attempt at a light action game and labyrinth in RPG Maker where you play a nimble dark elf that needs to flank enemies to deal damage. Sounds unique, but it gets old fast. Action is shallow, levels are simple, and the gameplay loop never evolves, the game progress itself is very linear, you clear one maze and unlock the next without any meaningful variation. The dark elf town remains static and empty, reflecting the overall underdeveloped world. As for the story, it exists, but only barely, it’s just there to justify the art. The translation is sloppy, riddled with noticeable poor word translation, grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. The whole thing feels like a rushed excuse to have some H-scenes. Those scenes are well-drawn and animated, but even then, they’re limited in number and variety. It took me 1.4 hrs to clear. Unless you’re a die-hard fan of the MC’s aesthetic, there’s really no reason to play this. Personally I wouldn't spend more than 2€ on this game and even then, only for completionists who want to grab all of this circle's games.
