Excellent program, does what it says it does.

simple.. but i need linux support please... i have ubuntu.. i want to use this software on that

The audio will lag as heck. Tried all the options (lowering the framerate, disabling this and that, change the audio quality etc.). My PC is very capable. 256Gb RAM, a Threadripper and an RTX 3090. Don't buy this. It's broken.

Movavi Screen Recorder has a good interface and it is very easy to learn. All the features are decent and Movavi continues to update it's software as we would expect. What I am very disappointed about is the fact that it doesn't have a dedicated "Device" and instead uses "Web Camera" capture. Most users use a picture in picture type setup for the webcam and the many who use hardware such as Elgato use "Device" capture to record and/or stream using HDMI input. Had there been a "Device" capture mode I would use the software over my still, number one pick, "Action" screen and game capture software. I still gave it a thumbs up recommendation for those less serious stream and game recording users. :)

if record is longer then 3 hours . it will be reduce speed too much slow .its look like fps droping dow to 10 fps when u check your recorded video .which is longer then 3 hours . check and u will see speed is too slow . and graphic reduced too same . under 1 hour records i can say yes its ok .but not more then 1 hour is not any thing to move . u should self move the every second to see somthing . and sometime u need to forward 1 minutes to see what did wrote the teacher

Updated December 2024: Since November 2024, the software now crashes nonstop. In the middle of recording it will crash or after I hit stop recording it crashes. I'm unable to use this anymore. I have cleared Steam Cache, updated system OS and other software, updated drivers, and uninstalled and reinstalled Movavi 3+ times and nothing has fixed it. It was running smoothly for 2 years and now this. I'm disappointed as this worked great for the almost 2 years I have used it. Prior review: I've only used Windows Game capture to capture work on my PC and now Movavi Screen Capture. The differences are quite noticeable immediately with the limited time I have used the program so far. The sound recordings so far have come out clean and volume levels are acceptable. The select recording window area has helped decrease editing times for me as well. The recorder does locate the cursor, but with me using a drawing tablet it doesn't track the pen, so I'm a little disappointed in that aspect. I got this during a Steam Summer Sale and I believe it was worth it over the Windows Game Capture program.

Audio sync issues. I did all the trouble shooting imaginable, but could not get audio to sync properly. I'm not recording on some potato either. I use other Movavi software and quite like them, but it's a big N-O for their screen recorder. Hopefully a future version will function better. Until then, there are better free screen recording programs out there.

As my dedicated screen recorder, Used mostly to record training video's, class/education webcam lectures, when receiving interviews and conference calls. Overall quality is top notch. Game play recording is applied through the same method, just haven't tried it. My hardware setup is a gaming laptop (GE66 MSI Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz) and a dedicated mic (Razer Seiren x).
