I am aware chessbase is by far the best type of chess software at the moment so have monopolised it and wildly overprice it. However its an amazing software that can help you do anything you want to chess wize. It makes chess prep easy and allows for a nice design, friendly interface and easy to annotate games.

This product only includes the ChessBase program. No database (Mega or Big) is included. However, I believe the Steam version offers a great deal (the Chessbase program Only non-steam version costs about 119 Euros). In addition to the Chessbase steam version, you may also use your existing ChessBase programs (Already own ChessBase magazine, Power Books, Training Material, etc.). While I have used cloud functionality, I have not yet tested the Playchess subscription. If you are concerned about the databases with this version of Chessbase, you can purchase e.g. Big Database for 69 Euros to use it along with your ChessBase Steam edition. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase on Steam.
