gotta love it when the person you romancing dies in front of you

This game has been sitting in my library for a while. I told myself I was going to continue the game later. I kept telling myself that. But deep down I already knew why I couldn't get past the 5-hour mark... Because the game is BORING. Each time I read the story, I just got bored. The characters are lifeless, the "plot" is paper-thin and uninteresting, even though it had potential. The writing felt just embarrassing at times—it's like you're watching a low-quality anime. The game is technically a mess too: crashes, missing/untranslated audio/subtitles you name it. Art style and music are "fine". I paid for this game when it was 20% off, and I regret every last euro I spent on it. There are better VNs/Otomes out there. Skip this one if you want something resembling a good story.

I first discovered Bustafellows in 2022 and I clearly remember playing it for many hours in a day because it was that good! I finally got a copy of the game for myself now in 2025 and it's just as thrilling and charming as I remembered! The characters are complex but you learn to love them as they navigate their personal lives while also forming a "found family" within one another. Everything is fully voiced and the VAs done such a wonderful job. Expectations exceeded! My favorite MMC is Helvetica and I'm aware I'm one of the very few who prefers him among the 5 males. But his personality and timing in humor is what tickled me for him to be my favorite because I really get him hehe. But I still love all the main characters and grew very attached to them. Teuta, I would say, is the most unique FMC I have played as in all the otome games I encountered. She thinks differently and can be her own person but isn't afraid to rely on others for help too. She isn't naive but doesn't have a too strong of a personality either so the way she is written is just right. The game tackles darker and adult themes so it is advised for the player to be at least 18 years old and above. My favorite part of the game though would have to be the transitions because it felt like I was watching an anime or show with how animated everything is! The overall concept of this game stands out and isn't your typical otome game! Now that Season 2 is released, I'm very very excited to purchase the game! Already played the demo and I was not disappointed! Gotta save up a little more though and hopefully there'll be a sale for it haha

I would defos recommend this! the voice acting is so good. and it's mostly really well written, only some rough parts here and there. but overall, I'd say the cast of characters is what makes this so worth it. I guarantee you'll come to love this motley crew of idiots /lovingly Mozu, shu, and limbo my babies -holds them close to my heart-

I AM DISGUSTED! DISAPPOINTED! REPULSED! had an interesting start, the story actually got a nice hook in the VERY beginning and then the quality instantly dropped... so slow, so boring, randomass storylines, takes FOREVER to get to the romance route, everyone is UGLY, especially luka or scarecrow or carmen, holy shit honestly did the team get together and try their hardest to make the most eyes training character designs? IM STRUGGLIGN to finish for the only interesting character, my mans shu this is just horrid and waste of time/money

Mozu is the best boy. Play it for him. I enjoyed a lot of things about Bustafellows, the production quality is great and the story is pretty exciting. Teuta is a great protagonist who takes a active role in the plot throughout and I appreciate that she's voiced. Runs great on Steam Deck.
