The background parallax scrolling makes my eyes sore. The color palette is also problematic, plus the effects come and go in such a fast fashion, that I can't really see what's going on around. I just keep pressing the attack button, the grenade button and the special button, and see that the enemy loses health rapidly, and finally die. I collect the stuff, continue on and do the same all again.
Well, didn't quite live up to my expectations. Looks nice, but hollow.

I'm going to start off saying that, for the current price, I recommend getting this game. It's not much, but I actually really enjoyed the experience of it. Having to go through every boss all over again every time I died made the fact that the attacks were mechanically very similar stand out, but the music was good and the art was amazing. The big bosses looked great, though I couldn't really see the mini-bosses because they were constantly shrouded by my attack animations.
To the dev: If you ever make a more mechanically intricate game, I will be one of THE first people on board. I think you could really benefit from breaking free of the current game type you're doing and exploring what's possible. You have A-Tier, if not S-Tier art, and I really want to see what you can come up with! ^.^
