Let me start off by saying that if you enjoy puzzle platformers, this is an absolute must buy for this price.
Picked this game up because I enjoy puzzle games, and this does not disappoint. An insane amount of levels, and each new world has it's own unique gameplay while being presented with memorable, funny, and quality art and references. It has just the right amount of references while maintaining it's own identity, and the gameplay itself is similar in that vein. Can't wait to see what's next from this developer, quality work all around. Figuring out a level you've been stuck on feels fantastic.
10/10 so far, no complaints!

Pretty good but still a little buggy. 8/10
I really enjoyed this game and the variety of levels, and the mechanics were pretty interesting.
Great retro 90's vibes. Controls felt pretty good for the most part.
I completed all the levels and would definitely recommend.
That said I do have a few gripes (that will probably be fixed sooner or later).
GLITCHES
The most game breaking bug is the fish boss.
If you die to him, he gets stuck and won't do anything, and the only way to start the match over is to exit the game and restart.
Which brings me to my second gripe. There's no way to exit the game. The pause menu contains some text to exit off to the side, but there's no way to access is, just music volume, resolution etc.
You'll have to close the game by other means.
One other bug to note is the hats. After putting on the hat, and dying a few times, I'd restart the level and be nothing but a hat. It seemed like I still had the same hit box, but basically was invisible. After a few more deaths it would sometimes fix itself.
I'd assume these bugs will be patched.
MECHANICS
The mechanics are mainly good, with the exception of the skateboard. You're not told how to double jump with the board and after I did figure it out, it was still hit or miss whether it would function correctly. Sometimes when jumping I'd stick to the board and sometimes I'd slide off.
Velocity transfer from the board to the character is very inconsistent.
This makes some of the last levels really frustrating, especially the Trick Ride level.
Sometimes after hitting a switch, speed would drastically slow down so I couldn't keep up with the board.
The other mechanic that seemed wonky was swimming. Inverted especially would jump in the opposite direction when the jump button was released, making for really jerky movement.
DIFFICULTY
The difficulty ratings mean nothing, really.
Some lower rated levels I found very difficult, while later levels were pretty easy.
Same goes for Bosses. The final boss was a joke. Maybe it was supposed to be, but 3 hits in quick success and it was over in like 20 sec. I played it again just to make sure it wasn't a glitch. It was very anticlimactic.
I think this game is definitely worth it, and with a few bug fixes, it'll be even better.
