I like FMV games, indie games, horror games, and some horror-comedy games. I would seriously urge buyers to avoid this one. The pacing is ruined because you can't skip a scene once you've selected it. So if you choose "use the stairs" at a game when the game (with no indication) wants you to do something else, you have to sit there as the same slow video sequence drags by. There aren't any really scary moments, and only a few bits of humor are really that funny. The horror host is probably the best part, while the film viewer overstays his welcome with jokes that become painfully juvenile (farting and soiling his pants) or last twice as long as they need to. I think they were trying for meta-humor, bargaining that how long it goes on and how un-funny it is would make it funny. That never kicks in, and instead of beingcharmingly amateurish, too much of it is just plain amateurish. With a better script and a shorter length, or even just a shorter length, I might recommend you give it a go. This got me thinking of that oldinteractive horror DVD, PRoject Slasher. That was only fifteen minutes, almost a proof of concept, but worked all right because of the pacing. Even with the alternate endings and a couple of clever bits or funny jokes, i would say avoid this game no matter how cheap it gets. I might try out the developer'snext game, see if they're improved their craft, since I like the diea of what they're attempting.

This is an extremely shitty game but it's fun to laugh at for under a dollar.

Endlessly going up the same flight of stairs only to be met with constant audio peaking and hard to see scenes. Highlight of the movie was a 3 minute long scene of a looping electrocution that might qualify as ASMR to some. The sharting viewer was the best part of the game and I would have preferred the entire game to revolve around us making choices on what he does and say while watching the movie.
