Yay, I can finally play Tower Defense Hero. This is a really good tower defense / MOBA hybrid game. For a long time, I have been searching for a Dota 2 and tower defense hybrid like this one. It has interesting features of hero RPG upgrade and tower defense upgrade. For the tower defense upgrade feature, I would also add that it is at the level of quality of the Project Myriad tower defense series.
I highly recommend this game.

Great game. I wish their were more levels and an option to eliminate the level cap for sandboxing.

Unfortunately bugs out too much leaving you frustrated. Hero often will not revive. Towers stop working. Too bad, could be a fun simple TD.

Pretty fun. Very nice price. Seems like the kind of game that gets easier the more you play rather than harder, as your character levels up and gets stronger. You play as a character and place towers. Direct your character to fight enemies. Place down towers and upgrade them. The worst part of this game is everything that's lacking in the UI. A lot of vital information is missing and it leaves you guessing about things that you should be able to see by simply hovering over something or viewing a static on screen number. Overall though, fun game. Well worth it.
This is NOT an RTS. This is a tower defense game with ARPG elements.

Finally a TD thats PLAYABLE!, so far this game has been a good challenge. I really liked the hero progression and items to raise skill lvls. So far i havent seen any bugs, but the game could use a tad polishing. Eg. a tower is sometimes covered by the 5 weapon slots that cover the bottom left of the screen(insert zoom, or map scrolling here). The map designs are very familiar if you are a kingdom rush fan, but have these weird mini bosses who stand far from the trail and only attack if you attack them first. Some of then are next to impossible to kill first time around but im sure if you get your hero to a high enough lvl you could come back later to finish them. I'm not sure if some of the weapons are specific to certain heros , eg. im using an archer hero and currently have a spear equipped that says +15 strength. Overall the game looks nice, the creatures are very unique and the towers can be upgraded multiple different ways. Im at map 20, and my hero is lvl 26 atm. I will give an updated review once i finish the game, so far i give it a B+

The game looks good with no bugs, but overall I would not recommend. Upgrading units during missions is slow because each upgrade per until is expensive and the number of waves is limited. There is no way you will have the money to max out more than a few units. And the maps are not very strategic, I didn't find myself needed to restart to try out different placement of units.
There is no way to unlock or upgrade anything between missions as is common in tower defense games. You can't impact things like how much coin drops, how much units cost, add new unit types, etc.
The hero idea could be interesting, but it is slow to upgrade and even with a level 27 hero with skills nearly maxed and lots of gear, the hero only has a limited impact as a melee unit. They can summon two knights and two archers, but that's it. They have no impact on tower stats, etc. The gear has very little impact so there is no excitement if you get something new.
Overall it's slow progress both with each mission and hero development.

I like this game, cheap, AND it has surprizing depth in the action. cheap and fun, i reccomend this game. so far my hero has gotten to lvl 12, really cool how the hero has gear and skills, makes it feel a lot more like your hero is special to you.
