I was... surprised by how quickly I got into this game. It showed up on my youtube suggested videos since I was watching people play games like Dave the Diver, so it was weird when this was just... there. lol I think it's because I was into Hades, that it eventually showed up in my Steam.
It's a fast paced game with various characters with different play styles. Fun music, and humor that just hits home. I didn't realize that I got the game with all the upgrades, which was nice because I didn't realize I was going through the game somewhat naturally. I didn't even unlock small boy or the axe guy til after I beat the game (Real ending by accident). Lots of side content, crazy weapon combos and what not. I highly suggest giving this a go. Played with controller even if it suggests keyboard and mouse. Great game and I continue to enjoy it and hope you do too!

Hesitated to buy the game on sale, played some "offline", then went back to steam and bought at full price.
Then, also liked this game enough to make a mod for the first time ever. (It's a QOL mod that makes the gameplay faster, and helps with 100% grind)

This isn't a game with gameplay as deep as in Gungeon or Isaac, but it has strengths in other aspects.
It was very fun to explore and discover, to "see what devs did with the game".
Art\artstyle is amazing, or at least grows on you to that point.
For these aspects i recommend playing, or trying.
Gameplay itself is nice but isn't the main focus\advantage imo.
There are even some questionable decisions that hit the player from the start, but it contributes to "explore\discover", which's a risk, though it went fine in my subjective experience.
To me it's a great game, with the soul from the developers that can be felt through playing.
There was enough "fresh content" for about 15 hours (which is experimenting, getting new art, trying new characters, etc), and to me that's a lot.
All hours after that were towards 100%-ing (focused on it as i was spoiled that there's something at 100%, but turned out it wasn't really anything) (plus about another 10-20 hours because i saved time from the mod, and from "playing offline")
I can really recommend trying it, and I also don't recommend 100%-ing it, as it "overstaying its welcome", it's literally just grind.
Also recommend playing it without spoiling yourself about anything, i don't think the game would've been worth it if i knew some of the things about it from start.
Speaking of - fuck the trailers that spoil entire games content, for any game, and for this one included.

Good art style. Very intense boss fight. Love Nemesis system, It pushes us to play faster.
Why people still buy 70$ game that except graphic can't even beat this game.

A highly enjoyable game where you can become a demigod in an hour, or you can die in the first few rooms because you're being stupid and accidently ran into spikes and didn't expect a silly little guy to drop on you. Has a ton of play styles and different weapons as well as fun characters and unlockables. A great game to play around Halloween

I know this is meant to be a game review, but this OST is absolutely amazing. The overall theme is timeless, I wish this game won an award for the music. The game is just as good as the music, I never felt bummed when I lost a run, there was always something to do and something funny to discover. The animations are great, and there's a TON to do. Great game.

Um dos melhores roguelikes que eu já joguei , tem vários personagens únicos , (meu preferido é o Axel) , vários finais , vários segredos , no geral é um roguelike muito divertido , é muito semelhante a the bidding of isaac.

I first got this game shortly after release, then refunded it because I found it barebones and too easy. Fast-forward years later and it releases its final patch, and hearing a lot of praise I get around to playing it, and it finally clicks for me.
Having 100% the whole thing, it absolutely falls on the easier end of roguelite shooters. Even the hardest challenges eventually feel easier than some of the base characters from things like Binding of Isaac or Enter the Gungeon. That said, the game is definetely entertaining, with a satisfying gameplay loop and considerable variety in the characters, guns and items you can get. The curse system is also one of my favorite mechanics, even if it does end up helping tweak some characters way beyond broken (cough cough BOSS BAZOOKA cough cough).
With it all done I don't see myself returning to it, but that's not a negative at all. I got 70 hours of fun out of it, and a casual player can get less than that and I'd still consider it a cheap game. It's basically already on discount, so if you're willing buy it and give it a chance.
Oh, and the artstyle is one of the biggest appeals. Started out liking it and only grew on me more and more.

Quite a content rich rougelike game. And I really mean content RICH game. I like how it is a homage to Resident Evil games. Chunks being a nemesis inspired ever pursuing always evolving enemy makes the game quite fun.
The number of weapons in insane...
And visiting the witch's shop is fun. She has quite big personalities.
