I got this game because it was 60% off and I had a few left over bucks on Steam and it looked like the kind of game I'd enjoy, dungeon crawler roguelite FPS, and I very much regret it, even at just $6, and I played 6 hours so Steam doesn't care what I say or think I went over the 2 hour limit so, no refund either!
Reason for that is, it feels like almost every area I've played so far has some enemy that is just awful to play against, granted I have only played Areas 1-3 and beat bosses 1 & 2 and attempted boss 3 once.
Area 1: "Mud" Slinging Orcs - Not only are enemy projectiles in this game super fast but usually well telegraphed, these guys barely wind up a throw into instantly blinding you for a few seconds + damage, the damage isn't a ton to worry about but if you're a squishier class and you didn't see the enemy in the room or maybe it was already too late, then you lose HP and get an annoying effect to deal with for a bit.
Area 2: Webber Spiders - Similar to the Orcs but now you're heavily slowed too! Great! I love not only being mostly blinded but also I can't run, dash, or move more than 20% of my base movespeed, only good thing about these enemies are they barely hurt and only can really kill if you're already really low or there's a bunch of mobs with them, but I was already annoyed with the Orcs and this is even worse.
Area 3: Ceiling Plant Turrets - Somehow... it gets WORSE. Most of the fighting in this game is melee, unless you play a mage type (I've unlocked 5 of 7 classes) and these enemies are probably the one of the least fun enemies I've faced in a game like this so far. These guys are basically the Mud Slinging Orcs but now they are only on the ceiling, they do have low enough HP that any starting weapon can fully charged 1 hit them but... that takes energy + you have to run at an enemy that can do a ranged blinding move while on the ceiling and you have you jump at perfectly time your jump and attack at the same time to kill them, or else you get hurt + waste energy, basically the only ways to deal with this enemy is to either use a ranged attack or shield the blind then melee spam while jumping, it's like a mini-game to fight a single enemy and it's not some fun one, it's worse than a QTE it's just always, "Great, it's this thing again" everytime.
That's all the areas I've been in so far and I'm already quite annoyed and it's enough to make me just drop the game, if each area somehow gets a worse more annoying less fun enemy type, I couldn't imagine the final area, I bet there like half or more of the enemies just blind or use disabling effects on you in every room. Then I realized this is a finished game with no more updates, and there's not even a wiki to learn anything, I got 3 gunpowder kegs and I have literally no idea what to do with them and what their purpose is, I couldn't imagine playing a game like this that's years old now and the game is so forgotten that nobody has even bothered with a wiki to help players or guides about the items, classes, anything!
I really feel like I got baited into getting this game honestly, I was desperate for a Dark & Darker that was solo PvE and I got this game because the sale, the tags, and the gameplay seemed fine until my final hour I noticed it was not stop annoyance and complaining coming out of my mouth about each area.
