Just a Yuri VN that you can talk about the next day around the water fountain. Not bad art, not bad writing. Didn't love it ... didn't hate it. Would absolutely switch for some of the other actors ... but not for the MC.

cute visual novel with fun characters and conversations. not ultimately a lot of substance, but not bad. It does feel a bit like you read through an hour or two of the same VN, and then the game assigns you one of the two endings at random (but I like the endings, so that's okay). The adult patch adds 1 scene to each ending, the scene has a single soft-core still, and some pretty graphical language

The artwork is nice to look at, even if it is just static cutouts with changing facial expressions. The story setup and dialog are plausible. The conversation and description of the sex scenes is well done and entertaining. But as a sim, it's very binary (the choice, not the sexual preference). Pick A as your first or second choice and you go down this character's path. Pick B and you go down the other character's path. Once you're on that path, it seems like you can do pretty much anything you want and still have a chance to get laid. The very last choice in each path determines whether you get the good (sex) ending for that character or the bad (no sex) ending. Basically, only for possible outcomes. I didn't try various permutations of responses to see if they changed subtle things in the final good ending. Not worth the effort.

On a Queen/Bahamian pop culture grading scale where Queen’s “A Night at The Opera” is perfection and Kimbo Slice’s performance against Seth Petruzelli is the bottom end, Bahamian Rhapsody is probably at a Sebastian Bach on Gilmore Girls esque level. Shamelessly terrible title aside Bahamian Rhapsody is a fairly uneventful micro visual novel. The art is the greatest feature with the backgrounds and the scene transition cards looking fantastic. The game uses a mess of pop culture references which definitely help in keeping things light, but on occasion feels tacky and over done. Dialog between characters occasionally feels unrealistic too but the story moves quickly enough where you don’t really have time to think about that.

Very dry and somewhat more cringeworthy than Colorado Cocoa Club because of the writer's curious handling of the scottish accent. Most of the dialogue is about either small talk or work stuff and it just jumps into your chosen romance option. might be comfy but there are comfier VNs that aren't cringe-worthy.

Didn't really take to this. The character art is mediocre and can be quite crude (i.e., anatomically impossible body curves in the CG's and comically large thighs on your love interests) while the music is rather enjoyable. I guess my biggest issue was with the writing. The author was going for the mundane, been-there-done-that cosmopolitan MC and her up-and-coming damsels in distress. Sadly, this leads to some incredibility concerning the setting: Rather than feeling friendship and love bloom between the characters, I always had the feeling like I'm playing a 50 year-old mom digging on younger chicks like Leisure Suit Lara. Several attempts at humor and memes were made, but they weren't my cup of tea either. Luckily I found out half way through the game that the skip button works on previously unread text, so if you're in for the trophies, just do that and dismiss the story - you won't be missing out on much.

One of the best yuri games that you can find on Steam: great art, good writing (with some minor quirks), nicely portrayed characters. Even 18+ patch for those that wants some spice. Short yuri visual novel set in the Bahamas. You are Kay/Kiki, a Scottish comedian whose show has just been cancelled by the BBC, and your girlfriend has dumped you. You and your manager head to the Bahamas to network, and along the way you meet two potential love matches. Choose well, and you can snare one. Decent.

I'm giving Bahamian Rhapsody a thumbs up, because it's not a bad game. It is a good game. The problem with Bahamian Rhapsody is it's only a good game. Bahamian Rhapsody isn't memorable and doesn't stand out in any way, shape, or form. There is some brilliant stuff here, but it's brought down by the other parts that are just good, or passable. I quite liked the jokes in the beginning and humor throughout. The craziest thing you've ever done section near the end was especially entertaining. However, I wish this scene happened much earlier in the story, as it's the one that really let's players get to know the girls. I do feel that these stories along with Yellow Watergate should be scenes that have their own unique art like the ending and love scene and should be something the player plays through given their critical importance. This would also make them have a far greater impact. The romance at the end felt like it didn't have a proper build up to it and just sort of happened. I think this could have been fixed if the developer didn't yadda, yadda, yadda over all the scenes where the girls would be bonding prior to that moment, such as going jet skiing and to the music concert. I found it frustrating that there was build up to these moments and then when you'd transition to them what you got was a scene of the girls talking immediately after the big event was over depriving me of that moments significance and impact. It felt like showing up for a movie only to have missed it and arrived while everyone else is walking out of the show talking about how great it was. These scenes need to be in the game with special art like we got for the ending scene and love scene and accompanied by dialogue and narrative that further characterizes these ladies and brings them and the reader closer together. More choices would have also helped flesh out the romance and narrative, as well as give the player more control. As it stands the paltry few choices I could make during the story didn't feel like they had any meaning or impact. I felt more like I was playing a kinetic visual novel than a normal visual novel and I was just along for the ride. More art would have also helped. There are like six background images and three different expressions for each character. I felt like I was seeing the same thing over and over while playing through the game. This monotony led to boredom halfway through. Despite these criticisms, everything that is present in this game is done in a competent manner. Nothing is outright bad. There are some scenes and instances that are great. The rest is just good. I was happy with the ending I got and it did feel very natural to arrive at given how the story went. Bahamian Rhapsody is a good game. It's just feels like the developer isn't living up to their full potential, which is such a shame in light of the many instances where the developer shows it could do and be more.

Since I also played "Cafe Deux Femmes", which was the previous VN of this Developer, I kinda knew what I could expect and I can't say that I was disappointed. I would even say they improved a bit on a few minor things with this release. The Art and music is still the same, but the story is nicer for me as it is a bit more focused on a single event. If you like romance stories or just positive and relaxing stories then I can easily say that this is pretty nice again. They also improved the r18 content from a text point of view, but the art is still just a single artwork of the girl you ended up with naked. So again dont buy this VN for the nudity/sex but for the wholesome and nice romance that comes with it. There are still a few minor things that can be improved, but considering the price and the length of the game they actually did a good job with the pacing and overall decisions on what content would be proper/important for the story. So yeah if you want a nice around 2 hour long lesbian story with a good amount of choices and 4 different endings then try it out, but dont expect a super high budget quality work, but a nice indie work. 7.5/10 Check out my Curator Page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34401214/
