I actually probably have closer to 100 hours because I had the game on PS4 when it was first released.
This game is very fun in a more relaxing way. You don't get your adrenaline rush like you would from drop shotting in a twitchy shooter or pulling off a plan in a strategy game.
Here, every mud puddle is a battle; each mountain a boss. Every successful delivery a triumph; every tipped truck a tragedy.
For me, the fun is planning and executing trips: What trucks and equipment do I need? Should I try the delivery in one go or do multiple trips? Where should fuel be placed? What other tasks can I complete on the route of my current delivery? Should I take the longer safer route or the shorter more dangerous route? If I get stuck or tip, is there a truck nearby to help?
Mud Runner and Snow Runner are in my top 10 games of all time. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Mud Runner or who likes slower paced truck delivery games.

game is desaster. after mudrunner this game needs a ladder to climb a toe of a mudrunner.
so lets start...
mud in snowrunner is like a wife that just saw a neighbor putting new fence. drama queen, annoying, impasable barrier.
driving: is like trying to hold on for your dear life while driving 15 kmh because stearing is primarily made for steering wheels and not keyboards so you constantly going left and then right and left and ring because wheels dont return when you let go of A or D so you are constantly over correcting.
missions: my God strike me down. 1 mission can last between 45 min to 5 hours. depending in witch shithole aka quick sand colored mud you found yourself in.
maps: every map..didnt hear about pavers or anything related to roads. nooo roads. so you are again stuck in bs drama queen mud. trees. eather of the strenght. a branch of a size of a toothpick can send you flying like a catapult because that branch brother dosnt intend to break. even if you get stuck with a branch between your truck cab and trailor...that branch is stronger then anything you saw in your life.
upgrades: ( that we all wanted ever since mudrunner) is there to laugh in your face..cause you just made a mission of delivering 3 long logs (2 hours gameplay) 3 medium logs ( another 2 hours) and another 3 medium logs ( 2 hours) rewarded you with pissing 1050 dollars..6 hours of playtime for 1050 dollars baby. nothing screams satisfaction then getting slapped in your face with cow patty after long day at work right.
do you wonna truck that CAN do the job...heeere is a DLC that is just 20 euros. and there is alot of them. greed here can pull the job off..game cant.
graphics: why improving anything mudrunner was fine just slap it with "fim grain" and "motion blur"
all in all this is a discrase to someone that made mudrunner. and i really did try to make it work with snowrunner but this is titanic sized catastrophy, apsolute waste of time and money. i regret giving it a chance because now i cant get my money back.

Just an awesome experience based on seeing the correct path, trying to take a shortcut, getting stuck and loosing like 4 hours and an absurd amount of trucks to try to get unstuck, raging and taking the long but clearly easier path.
My favorite offload driving game

If you like driving for 2 or more hours to move less than a km this is the game for you. But to be honest the game is a lot of fun but I do recommend strongly to AVOID certain DLC maps. These are the Amur region, the Kola peninsula, and the Belozersk Glades. Those regions are either extremely difficult and tedious or just poorly made like the Belozersk Glades which gets most of its difficultly from the fact that 90% of the bridges are destroyed and cannot be repaired. From my experience even though the Amur region and the Kola Peninsula are much more difficult that the Belozersk Glade I'd say the Glades are way worse because you can't fix the issues with the map and it just doesn't offer good gameplay at all.

Fun game that is really laid back and not to crazy. You can increase the level of difficulty and stress if you want which adds a large level of detail to the game.

Gonna first start off with saying I love this game, Yes it can be hard but it can be very fun! But its just falls flat in so many areas its depressing. So many things that feel half done, it just doesn't feel right to give it a positive review.
Pros
------
- Looks amazing one of the better looking driving games I've played.
-Maps are fun and have good variety! and look amazing in some trails too!
-A fair amount of vehicles and some customization
-Tons of content
-Multiplayer
(There's probably more but i cant think of it due to the CONS over-weighing the PROS)
Cons
-----------------------
-Crappy Physics
- Trucks will bounce all over the place a lot even at crawling speeds
- Trucks don't have flex in suspension therefore making it really hard to do anything with rocks since half the truck list is very top heavy and tippy.
-Trucks will start sliding all over the road after doing about 30mph and act as if they have no steering input. Even if you just go straight the back end will start to slide out.
- Sometimes there is clipping issues with the trucks and it will cause trailers to wig out.
-Trucks don't have transmissions. And what i mean by that is each "Gear" is a pre-determined speed. If you look at the Tachometer in first person it never matches your throttle inputs or what you think the engine speed should be. And that brings me into another point
-Trucks don't have Torque related to RPM or anything to do with clutches. Kinda a weird one but in certain situations where say you are climbing a hill in low gear, 4x4 and diff locked and a heavy load. So if you where to slow down on the hill you'd expect to have the wheels to get insane traction and start to lift the front end right? Or at the very least start slipping the clutch and give a warning/prompt? NOPE instead it just slows down and starts shuttering the wheels back and forth at what sounds like the engine almost stalling, while you stand still.
-Trucks don't have realistic gear counts that could make many trucks actually viable options. IN A GAME ABOUT SEMIS YOU THINK THEY WOULD ACTUALLY HAVE TRANSMISSION THAT HAVE 10+ GEARS. like this has pissed me off since the game came out. Like give us actual transmissions please i understand having few gears makes it easier for automatics and people new to semi driving games but its so crappy that alot of trucks from factory have a low range thats seprate from the transmission. You could have just done a 18 speed and have low/high as a button press but nah you gave us a really crappy "Stick" layout that shouldn't be present in a game about realistic offroad driving. You could have made it a button press with a visual gear on the side of the screen that would respond. Now the biggest reason i hate this is for H pattern shifter support. Its just non existence. Not even for the trucks that have 5 gears. its legit all based around controllers and keyboard/mouse.
- Pressing Y to auto attach the winch is just terrible, Like bro i want the tree that is in the centre of my screen and within the zone while im moving forwards not the tree off to the left basically parallel with me.
-The deep snow shouldn't be that hard to drive through. I live in Canada and have driven a Chevy C/K1500 that was stock through snow deeper than in game faster than anything in this game. Mud is hard to get through but dude really? snow is harder to move through than mud? smh
-Trucks are so freaking slippery on rocks its hilarious. Even in low gear with diffs locked it feels as if its as slippery as ice in the game. making rock crawling not a option basically. Combined that with the non-existence of flexing suspension and you got crap.
-75% of the trucks feel as if they have all their weight in the top 1/4 of the vehicle Ie. Chevy C/K1500. Like did you even find the centre of mass for that truck? it feels like the weight its above the engine and inline with the roof.
-I could keep going but I'm just getting sad as i write this.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
All in all the game suffers from "LETS APPEAL TO THE MASSES" its not a sim, it barely passes for arcade. But it markets itself as realistic. To many decisions strayed it away from a perfect game. Yes its fun, but its just not all there and it can make for a very frustrating time in a lot of cases. If it didn't have theses problems i wouldn't even call the game a challenge in some places.
its like that blonde from High school every knows. Looks super pretty and fun to fool around with. But the moment you do you start to regret your choices seeing all whats under the hood and realise your ex wasn't so bad after all.
5/10. Would give mixed if option
