Decides to take a shortcut through a solid looking sand patch at smithville dam. Sinks like the titanic but in sand. Then grabs a scout truck to pull the truck out of the mud.Successfully wasted 2 hours trying to save 2 minutes. 10/10 would try again

By far the best challenging off-road exploration and delivery game, with amazing graphics and physics. Go for the season passes for more variety and challenge!

The game claims "the most advanced terrain simulation ever", but compared to its predecessors (Spintires and MudRunner) it is unfortunately actually rather simplified. I wont go into too much detail on that matter, but it would be very obvious to you if you had ever played the previous games. Despite the downgrade in simulation, the rest of the game more than makes up for it. The game's maps are a lot of fun to explore and the task and contract system gives you lots to do for hours on end in each region whilst at the same time giving you a real sense of progression. I especially liked the way some of the missions impact the world around you, such as clearing rockslides or building bridges - my only complaint in that regard is that there wasn't more of it. The game includes quite a few licensed trucks, so it was weird seeing so many unlicensed ones in the same game. It is quite jarring to see the freaks of nature that are the unlicensed vehicles (most of which are Eastern European, but also some Western ones), next to the nice recreations of Chevrolet, Pacific, and Navistar International trucks. Driving the unlicensed, bastardized versions of real trucks just isn't the same -it is honestly kind of disappointing. Another disappointing thing is that the Steam Workshop wasn't used for mod support like it was in the previous games of the series, and instead was replaced with the third-party "Mod.io" which requires you to sign up for that to be able to use mods. Over all though, the game is a lot of fun, and can be a very relaxing, yet challenging experience. Whilst I do have more "nitpicks" and criticisms of certain features or the lack there of, I can't complain too much, as there isn't exactly anything else quite like SnowRunner out there. Definitely more fun with friends in co-op, but the singleplayer experience is great too.

While the game seems like its just euro/american truck sim in dirt it really isnt. The terrain throws a wrench into your best laid plans often. Rolling your truck with cargo spilling out is a common occurrence (bandit/twinsteer life). It can be frustrating at times but rewarding when you overcome the obstacles unlocking better upgrades to tackle larger obstacles and removing some to make your next delivery easier. This is an either love it or hate it game. If you get into it you really get into it otherwise you will bounce off pretty hard. I am unfortunately one of the love it people and im stuck playing this until I finish everything.

Game has a lot of content with great vehicle mechanics. Free will on how and when you complete the quests. As a trophy hunter I love that you can get all steam achievements without having to buy any DLC, however they do not seem too expensive and I will definitely play them sooner or later. I highly recommend trying at least the base game yourself.

I fking love this game, cant explain it, i dont understand it... its like you go to work right.... you get home and you feel like laying back in the chair with an ol'controller and you just drive around doing missions rather than playing some intense shooter... You just want to kick back, relax, maybe even fall asleep during. Meditate, be so safe, so comfortable, so snowy. :')

The best part of this game is its Physics. Figuring out the best path while roaming the landscape is fun and rewarding, but can also be nerve wracking if you get stuck. Using your wench to get out of sticky/Hard spot is fun, Its a nice relaxing game that could put you on the edge of your seat while completing tough unique challenges that arise from the game.
