Like wheel of fortune kinda but with a few perks. Good job, Oleg.

It reminds me of Wheel of Fortune picking letters. It also reminds me of word searches. The game is alot of fun.

I love word games and this one, though clever and attractive was very easy to do. It was addictive and I look forward to completing all 36 steam achievements in due course. My first play through took me 4 hours and I will happily play another 4 to complete the game fully.

Guessing letters to form words is fun, even when the clues are not the best. If it says to name an animal I do not think a bird or reptile is the animal.
How do you save the game? I have to start over once it is all complete. Where are some good instructions?

Not really worth it. I have been noticing a lot lately how lazy this title was. My fist catch was a tree clue and the answer was Magnolia... not a tree but, okay. The most puzzling was Jobs and Occupations clue and the answer was...... wait for it.... kidnapper! what normal person would associate stealing another human being as a job and occupation, not to mention to think of it that way when making a game. Had hopes for a good word game, I guess the hunt continues. EDIT: I Added a few more of the "quality" gameplay words. Aquatic Fauna > Salmon? fauna is a fish type????? Mythical creature > Mutant Bathroom > Dropper? Algebra and Geometry > Union? No effort at all on this title as seen by the clue/answers.

There are seven levels of words in every pyramid. Each pyramid level has a different category, and you have to guess the word based on the given category. You can use some of the power plays, such as revealing one of the letters from the word, eliminating five incorrect letters, revealing all the vowels of the word, or choosing a different category to guess the word. Each successful guess will be rewarded with coins. Once all seven words are guessed correctly, a puzzle piece of an Egyptian story will be revealed. I don’t know the real purpose of earning the coins, as there isn’t anything to buy in the game.
There are 55 days (or levels) in the Adventure mode. Some levels only have one theme or category, and some have a specific number of letters you need to guess the word (Manuscript mode). There are some levels that start with the same letter in the pyramid but with various of categories. Some random levels have a side quest where you need to solve a jigsaw puzzle. The flaw of this mode is the logic of the given category. The category can be too broad, but sometimes, it’s too specific to guess the word. It’s more like I have to find the correct word for what a person is thinking. For example, a particular category - ‘Baseball’ and the right word is ‘WIN’, and another is ‘HIT’. Why not generalise those words under the category of ’Sports’? Other examples are such as:

Category: Restaurant. Word - Steak (Why not Food?)

Category: House. Word - Pet

Category: Yard or Backyard. Word - Backyard

Category: School. Word - Paper (How about Stationery or School Supplies?)

Category: Business. Word - Equipment

Category: Animals. Word - Herring
In Manuscript mode, you are given a number of random letters. You need to guess the correct word as many as you can within the time limit. There is no category in this mode, but you must get the exact right word. For example, if the random letters are A-I-E-D, you can’t put AIDE even though such a word does exist. The correct word that they expect is IDEA. The Manuscript mode is quite challenging, and I felt annoyed due to the strictness, but it’s more fun than the Adventure mode. As for Shard mode, it gives you more freedom to create as many words as you can using the given letters.
I don’t think you need to spend up to 10 hours to finish this game, but you probably have to leave the game running to unlock the achievement for playing the game for 10 hours and 20 hours.

I like this a lot. If you like word games, and especially Hangman, this is worth a look. It consists of a main game with 55 levels, plus 3 mini games.
Each of the 55 levels consists of a pyramid of 7 words, from 9 letters down to 3. You're shown the category the word belongs to, eg Animals, Countries etc. After a few levels you start to accumulate 4 power-ups, which:
Fill in one letter in the position you select;
Fill in all the vowels;
Knock out 5 unused letters from your alphabet selection;
Discard the given word and give you a new word.
You earn game points and power-up points from:
Quick word completion;
Making no mistakes after your first correct letter;
Picking X-in-a-row letters without a wrong 'un;
Guessing the word correctly before you have all the letters.
The 3 mini games are:
Guess the jumbled words put on screen, one at a time for 3 minutes;
Make as many words as you can in 3 minutes from a random 12 letters;
A pyramid without a category clue or power-ups.
Very decent value for $7 imo.

Despite the olden graphics and sloppy background story, the game offers quite a challenge, an enjoyable one to boot. The mini-games are its true gems, in my opinion. I endured the tedious main campaign just to unlock them all. The game's good for learning new words, too: entrepod, froufrou, demirep, vas, to name some. And 3 of those examples have the wiggly red lines under them because they are not recognized by Steam. But well I looked them up and I was like, goodness, they do have meanings.

Straightforward casual hangman-esque game where you are making your way around a map, one round at a time, with a handful of jigsaws thrown in. As you progress through the rounds you will unlock a couple of other mini word games (think Boggle).
In most rounds you are guessing letters to find a word. The first word is 9 letters long, and the last is 3 letters. Most rounds will provide you with a category as a clue, but some rounds are themed - e.g. all words will start with the letter S, or all words are related to furniture. As you get correct answers you also build up some items that can help you reveal all vowels, uncover a chosen letter, remove incorrect letters from your pool, or reset the category for that word. If, at any point, you think you know the full word you can also hit a button to guess it, which leads to bonus points and extra item buildup.
You can generally brute-force your way through the campaign as the cost of making a mistake is quite small; each mistake you make will reduce a vial which, if ever empty, will uninstall windows on your computer.
I'm joking - I literally never saw what would happen if it ran out - it's that generous. Also the items stack - and carry over between rounds, so you can to some extent ration these out as you get to the last few levels to hammer through them.
Alternatively, you can take your time and work things out. This was particularly fun with some of the geography-based questions (US States, capitals of the world, countries). Similarly, you may change your preferred letter order if you come a category related to science.
At the time of writing I essentially have all the achievements except the time-related ones (play for 5, 10, 20 hours), which I'll probably just leave the game running in the background to unlock (yes I am sad and like achievements).
The extra modes are modestly replayable, however two of them are quite punishing and rely on a bit of luck. These extra modes don't have any clues or categories, which makes it quite frustrating when you make a valid word using all the letters, but it's not the specific word the game is looking for (think elbow / below, or made / dame).
Story/music/art are inoffensive, unobtrusive, and otherwise unremarkable - but hey we're here to puzzle/wordplay, right?
My only other negative is that there are some elements which you can't hurry up or skip. This isn't a massive deal, I was just rushing the game and it slowed me down.
Lastly, and very importantly; the devs were quick to patch the game to fix an issue that I was having - which is reason enough to give positive feedback in my book.
