Don't waste your time or money. Not funny or challenging. Thankfully it's extremely short.

It is a very well made game and probably a lot of effort went into it but from a consumer viewpoint it is extremely short and see a fairer price at under one dollar.

I'm going to begin with saying that this game is DEFINITELY WORTH PLAYING. Not only because of it's MASTER level art and animation, but because overall I think it is worth to spend a few bucks on supporting indie developers like this. Many of the greatest game designers whom work I adore also began with short games like this. On the subject of game itself, I think it is not without issues. Music tracks are not always suitable for the scenes and there can be, from time to time some audio glitches. The narration is acceptable. You can -to some extent- develop a connection between characters but you might have a little problem cursing the game's puzzles. To be honest, I think the game needs a little bit more attention. I'ts free of bug (though you might find one or two along the way) but the experience is not that smooth because of some technical issues. BUT something that really shines in this game is it's Animation and Art. It is fantastic, beautiful and dazzling. Animation is smooth and well drawn and the scenes look marvelous and funny. Especially the scene that has a few ghost character inside of it (funny AF). I definitely RECOMMEND this game and I hope to see more from the developer. Peace
Incredibly short game, about 30mins to complete.
Easy trial & error problem solving. The music is annoying and repetitive without separate volume control to the sound effects. Overall I'll give it a thumbs up because of the excellent animation and dry humour.

This game has amazing art works, animations and of course amazing story. If you enjoy point and click games, just try this one and you won't regret it. The adventures and puzzles in this game are really enjoyable and exciting. Also the characters are quite well made and fun to deal with! Hands down to Mehrdad Rezaei for this marvelous adventure.

I picked this game up because I enjoy playing point and click adventure games, and the fact it had a really interesting art style, was an indie game, and had a few awards drew me to it. After playing and finishing the game (in just 25 minutes, and I had to look up the solution to only one puzzle), I can say the art style is pretty much the only thing this game has to recommend it. I don't know if a lot (or at least some) of the issues are because the dev is Iranian, but in that case, it just really goes to show that trying to find people from other countries willing to help out (and there are a lot out there) for cheap, or even for free would help this case a lot. Okay, the plot. You're Detective Morris, being forced by your boss to go get a diamond from a haunted castle. Is this how police work in Iran, they just... break into places and steal stuff? I mean, there's no mention of a warrant, or why you would go there for actual detective work. Maybe the person t hat stole it left it in an abandoned castle? It really could use some more set up. Also the mouse antagonist is a very odd choice. Why a mouse? Is this another joke that didn't translate well? I'm assuming because you can turn the tables on the mouse in a couple sections, and they didn't want to show you injuring another human... but they never really say why the mouse is there, besides hinting it also wants the diamond. Speaking of which, the translation is bad. Not in a funny way, or even in a 'This doesn't make ANY sense' way but in a very obvious 'This is missing a lot' sort of way. I know humor is very subjective, but I'm not sure what could have been a joke in here, it was mostly just statements. There's also very little text in general, which makes puzzles MUCH harder to solve. Morris going 'hmm' at things isn't helpful, a 'I don't want to break the glass with my gun, I only have one shot' would have been helpful. Of course, where you use the gun doesn't make any sense either. Which brings me to my next problem; the puzzles are VERY nonsensical, and VERY heavy into 'guess what the dev was thinking' territory. Up until some at the end where it's just 'use what you last picked up, it's that linear'.And there's QTEs in the game. One of which made me stuck on a puzzle, because you need to notice a thing in the background for a hint of the puzzle, but you have a quarter second before death. And that' not even a QTE, that's a 'death until you solve it' area. This also causes another issue; there's no saving. There's autosaves the game does, but that means you might get dumped several screens (and a few puzzles) behind where you died. And you can't save right before the QTE, so you need to do the puzzles over and over until you get the QTE right. Lastly, the music REALLY doesn't fit. It's a very short loop that's way more cheerful sounding then I would expect, or want. It could be free music (which is fine) but it does not fit for a haunted castle, even for a comedy haunted castle. Either something slower in a minor key, or just in a minor key in general would have helped. I'm sure there's better free music that would have fit out there, this is just so out of place. All in all, while I wouldn't recommend this game, I would be interested in seeing something by the dev if they made the game longer, and got some other people to help (mainly on translation and writing). I'm not angry, just disappointed.

I super wanted to give this game a positive review, but it's not quite ready for prime time yet. Even though I ultimately felt I had to give this game a thumbs down, please still consider supporting the developer by picking it up, perhaps on sale, especially if it looks like the kind of game you might be into. Just take your left is a very short mouse-driven game by Mehrdad Rezaei, who seems to be a solo Iranian developer. Your character is an agent of some sort who is sent to steal a diamond from a castle, but is antagonized along the way by a small mouse who is determined to stop him. Just Take Your Left is a short game that can be played from start to finish in about 15 minutes. The game uses an autosave system and most of the puzzles in the game involve sierra-style player death; your first playthrough may take up to 30-45 minutes as you work through the puzzles as dying does tend to reset your progress a bit in some cases. The game also has several QTEs with a short window that will kill you if you are not quick enough. The star of the show here is the animations. The game is packed full of hand-drawn antics that evoke the feel of some of the old Tex Avery or Tom and Jerry cartoons. The Steam trailer showcases some of the best of these. I only wish the rest of the game had risen to the quality of the animation. Since it is such a short game, my expectation is that the experience will be polished. Unfortunately, the music doesn't quite fit in some scenes, and in other scenes, the backgrounds feel a tad unfinished. The game's text feels as though it was run through a google translate a few times - it gets the point across, sort of, but the text is full of strange phrasing, odd translations and misplaced punctuation. If I were making a game that I was planning to charge money for, and I were going to release it in a language I was not very familiar with, I would definitely run it by some native speakers for feedback - it feels like that was not done here. It detracts from the game's charm. There are also some bugs. In some cases I managed to create artifact sprites of my player character, and I also accidently broke one puzzle trigger by hitting escape at the wrong time; I had to reload the save to continue. I had a lever that hung around in my inventory even after I put it in the correct slot. Also, oddly, there is no custom text for object interactions. Using the incorrect inventory item on an object has the same effect as clicking that object. If you are willing to overlook some flaws, and are looking for a short, hand-animated point-and-click, this is a decent candidate worth picking up. If some of the issues are addressed in an update, I will likely change this review. However, for the time being, if you are looking for a more polished hand-animated experience, I would point you instead towards TSIOQUE, Luna: The Shadow Dust, Feria D'Arles, or Theropods.

This game is extremely small and lacks proper dialogues and monologues, but it's very cheap, it is quite funny, it has a great art style, and it is made with love, so that's enough for me to give it a positive review. Keep it up. Till next time, don't forget to point & click!

this game has nice artwork and great character animation, a lot of though has gone into how the character reacts to objects, which is great to see. I managed to get stuck a few times but not so stuck you'd give up or start hunting down a tutorial, A little moan is quality control and grammar but English isn't the guys first language, and considering its the cost of a burger the character animation is so much nicer than some dearer games, no aimless wandering about and dodgy "use" animation here! Well done to you Mehrdad, just let some folk in to help with the detailing :)
