Anime Artist 3: Harem Reviews

Far too little content, the art is great but 16 pictures total is a ripoff.

An easy connect-the-dots and color game where you earn stars in order to unlock outfits for 4 girls to wear. It's just a relaxing game to enjoy that has a free DLC where you see also can see boobs. If you liked the simplistic, relaxing nature of the other games in the series, you'll like this one as well.

Another really great entry, similar to the second, but this time we have more artists to choose from. Maybe it was just practice, but I found that this time the outlines were much more refined. You have to connect the dots again in order to color and, again, there are two levels to earn stars and purchase wardrobe pieces for each of the girls. Achievements are easy and I knocked this out in an evening, despite there being two additional DLCs. Good stuff! The girls are gorgeous and the poses are SO creative. One of my favorite series to date!

A rather short anime puzzle game with simple mechanics, typical art style and some mild adult content. Entertaining for a short while.

softcore memory connect the dots & coloring book in the POV of an "employer" of 4 anime girls. Voiced, animated avatars, stars to get outfits, and a modicum of difficulty. Customized outfits for new 3 girls and expressions. Fixed the bad resolution when playing and in the wardrobe Anime Artist 2 had, though directly ported Danya and her outfits, so no new content for her. Not many voice lines, and the three new voice actors speak faster than the "3, 2, 1, go!" opening so it's not synchronized. Their audio quality also isn't really good. Static image for the title screen instead of an animated avatar of an anime girl, like in Anime Artist 2, when Danya says, "welcome back, friend." No mod support or workshop, nor "hot" mode to show nudity. Only 4 images for each girl, so not much content. Three steps up, two steps down. Could add to the gallery animations of the 4 anime girls instead of only having the 16 unrelated artworks. Thought Anime Artist was best when they named their girls and added personality by showing different situations they were in. Could be more endearing if the title screen was customized for each of the anime girls to welcome the player, like in Anime Artist 2. Much more detached in 3. Not very memorable.

Nice game, I overall enjoyed the experience. 2 different puzzle games: - the first "connect the dots" gives you the impression of drawing - the second let you select the colors from the palette and color the artwork yourself. The game is quite simple and relaxing. I found very interesting the customization aspect that the game offers. There are 4 girls and a ton of dresses to unlock, you also can swap dresses and hairstyles on the fly. Last think there is a secred mode (available if you download the 18+ patch) that allows you to use the "rubber" and delete .... let's say... what's not necessary. 7.5/10 - Game is a blast! Third time the charm they say, and Anime Artist 3 is the best one yet. This time you are treated to a harem of hot hentai girls wanting to draw your wildest dreams. The game play is slightly different in this one and more involved and i like that. The art is great in this one and imo a notable improvement from the first two games. If you liked either Anime Artist 1 or 2 you will like this one too. Anime Artist 3: Harem is a connect-the-dot/memory/colouring adult content game. The gameplay looks promising but it's just... boring. The pencil drawing part is solved my simply holding left click and moving your mouse over the entire screen. The colouring part is however, even worse! The colours are so inaccurate, almost all brown is black or purple, etc! In one of the very first levels her hair is purple, yet the color to use is black and her dress is brown yet the color to use is purple! Nonsense! This game makes it even worse by limiting your amount of paint available in challenge mode: so if you have a hard time figuring what color they meant for you to put there (on top of considering that they're mostly inaccurate) well you run out of paint and can't do anything yet the level goes on! That was so confusing at first... The music is generic and the sound effects are very basic, they're the same as the previous games. The art is inferior to the last 2 games too. There is zero story. You have to complete every difficulties to unlock all the dresses or you can simply get 'Extra Help' on the menu and have nothing to do. How great! Also, this game uses 50% CPU and 95% CPU on the main menu! 90 Celsius CPU while idle! Overall, unpolished, extremely short, low quality and generic art, inaccurate colours. Not recommended from me.

Same as Anime Artist 2 but again with more options. What can I say, it is plain boring. Sure you get more characters and items to buy in the shop but the lack of innovation is striking. The concept remains the same as well. I really do not see the point of buying this game.
