The interesting visual style sadly fails to make up for the lack of enemy and weapon variety, the boring boss battles, terrible enemy ai, lack of proper item balance and massive performance issues. I ended up beating the game on my second run after just over half an hour of total playtime, mainly because the slowdown was so bad that the final boss practically ran in slow-motion.
Now don't get me wrong, this game isn't terrible by any means. The concept and foundation are solid enough, but it really needed some more polish. Skip this and play OTXO instead.
