fun game if you enjoy cycling or watching the grand tours on tv. easy to learn and play

if you like cycling and have a controler this is the game for you. altho it does get kinda repetitive after a while

Completed all achievements for this game, here's my review: It's a good game but it comes with some major caveats. Let's start with the good: - Gameplay is easy to learn, but hard to master. It gets addictive very quickly if you're a fan of the sport. - Full TDF experience, along with some other events thrown in. Stage length is quite good. - Plenty of room for strategy and excitement. Now, the bad: - One face for every rider. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. - Peloton/breakaway dynamics feel very odd. Sometimes too easy, others impossible to get a gap. - The overall presentation is terrible. Not just the outdated graphics, but the subpar sound, commentary and soundtrack all let me down. So, as a cycling simulation it's quite good, but it lacks a lot to make it a complete videogame. Buy this only if you're a fan of the sport.

This game is good but it can get repetitive after awhile its the same game its been for years aside from some new modes and graphics.

21 is alright. Winning from a breakaway is nearly impossible in this year's iteration making it so much more rewarding to even get a podium. Actually gotta think about the moves I make even at the start of the race and time shit to perfection or get brought back. Also good to see coms commands being a lot more usable. AI seems improved even if not by a lot. Sad to see challenge mode get sent to hell as that was a fantastic way to train your breakaways and positioning. Overall 21 feels a little more bare-bones than last year's title but just feels better. One step forward, one step back kind of a deal so yeah not bad but not good. Give it a shot perhaps? Wish there could be more to this than just being hyper-focused on The Tour.

It's decent enough, especially if you like cycling / TdF but I find it very difficult when using your own character created for a career. Basically, everyone else has far more stamina and skill so you'll never qualify for any of the special events. Playing as an established rider is then too easy so there isn't much middle ground. Worth playing though, when on sale

I never owned previous versions, so I do recommend this to cycling fans and fanatics. I do bike actively, and after my own dose of km's i do play this game and have fun. ( I cannot get enough of cycling:)) BUT Could the graphics be better? Yes Could the gameplay feel better? Yes Are there bugs? Yes Is there a better game with road cycling in mind out there? No What does really disturb me, that all cyclists seem to have bike of one kind of CYA sort. I did not yet play the Tour de France in itself, but i really miss all the Pinarelos, Specialized(s), Giants and others. You may want to look into PCM if you want to have a bit of granularity in the management. But honestly, none of these two games really excells in one or the other. So either you want to bit more manage (PCM) or have the feeling of more control over your drivers (TdF).

Isn't much can say about this game, if you like cycling and sport games then you will enjoy this game, in some cases a ton. However its nothing special nor are the graphics any better than 4 years ago honestly. I wish they would make a game with prettier graphics and just more PC friendly rather than a PC port on console game but overall it's a fun game to play and spend a few hours

After beating everything this game has to offer on the hardest difficulty and unlocking all of the achievements, I think I should just make a final review on this game: It's the same game that it has been for the past 3-4 years with nothing new except Pro Rider mode. The AI has gotten a little better and is more realistic apart from a few weird things I see them do. If you're a fan of cycling then this game is definitely a good pick up, but if you have previous years' versions than I recommend sticking to those, however. The PC port has been nice instead of being an exclusively on console I should mention. TL;DR good game if it's your first cycling game and you're a fan of the sport, but it's the same game every year.

This game has some really nice improvements to last year but the breakaway AI is completely bugged. Everytime i go into a breakaway with any rider i get chased done. The AI is attacking with riders that have like 5 more mountain and hill stats and are just allowed to go and if i attack i get chased relentlessly. Please fix this as fast as possible!
