Really very pleasant game, if you're in the mood for a jigsaw. The artwork is just stunning, and with the accompanying music the game is a very peaceful and almost meditative, fulfilling experience. The story is a nice addition, and adds flavour. The gameplay itself is simple and effective, working seamlessly. Lots of options to customise number of pieces and shape, and also how much image is revealed to you to assist. If this sounds like your thing it is well worth the (low) price - great value.

My Jigsaw Adventures - Forgotten Destiny is the... Fourth installment of the series. (You can play the games out of order as they each hold their own story and universe.) Played through everything and 100%ed achievements in 10.3 hours using a mouse, though it can be longer or shorter depending on what puzzle size you choose. Difficulty is easy.
- This time the universe involves Dragons!
- There are three puzzle categories, Story, Blitz, or Challenge. You need to play X amount of Story in order to unlock the other two.
- There are 20 puzzles in Story, 10 in Blitz, and 15 in Challenge.
- Each puzzle in Story can be played with normal pieces, arrow pieces, or mosaic (square) pieces, and there is a variety on how big you want your puzzle. In Challenge and Blitz the size varies, and on Challenge the puzzle piece type can vary even more.
- The art is awesome and you can use it as wallpaper or check it out in the game's Gallery after uncovering it during gameplay. Some of the art was weirdly dark for me compared to previous MJA games. Turning up the brightness on the monitor and changing the background image helped with this.
- The story is OK. It strings you along for each story puzzle. Sometimes if I beat a story puzzle it gave me the outro blurb starting at the bottom and I had to scroll up to read it all (this is a very minor quirk).
- The music in this version is nice. Some of it, like song 02, felt mercilessly repetitive when I was doing much larger puzzle sizes. There's no way to change tracks mid puzzle.
- Achievements are all easily attainable.
In the end, you're getting My Jigsaw Adventures - Forgotten Destiny because you A. Really like puzzles, B. Really really like Dragons, or C. Are really really really stressed out and need to chill for a few hours. All are good reasons for picking this little puzzle beauty up. It's got dragons in your FACE, it's got heroic music, and most importantly it's got puzzles. Lots of puzzles. More puzzles than you can shake a stick at.

Absolutely adore this jigsaw puzzle game (and the whole series as well) and often find myself doing some puzzles again just to relax. :)
The artwork is simply stunning - though some puzzles are quite dark which makes it hard to see the details - and the soundtrack suits the game.
The puzzle pieces just click perfectly and it's really fun to puzzle, definitely one of the best jigsaw puzzle games I could find on steam.
10/10 would recommend!

My Jigsaw Adventures - Forgotten Destiny is a really good puzzle game. I am still playing through but I have a good idea of what the game feels like. The art, music and story blend well together to create a really nice atmosphere that's mysterious but still relaxing. There is nothing unnecessary or gimmicky about it. Everything option has a purpose to enable you to play the way you enjoy these types of games. If you just want to go through the story, there is an option to have fewer puzzle pieces that will make it easier to progress. Is the story out-of-this-world good? Would I recommend the game purely for the story? No, it's quite generic BUT it works well to add to the flavour of the game. So, I think it's a nice addition and definitely brings the game to a higher level of sophistication. Overall, It's just a great experience for those who love puzzles and fantasy, and at the listed price it's well worth it.

If you enjoy fantasy genre art and puzzles, this is a very nice game to add to your library. The art is lovely, and well-suited to providing a challenge without straying into being boring. My time shown includes idle time; however, the puzzles will provide many hours of enjoyment. The story is just okay, but it provides a nice framework for the artwork, and it kept me wondering what was next. I like dragons, I like this style of art, I like puzzles - this game was perfect for me. I still have more modes (style of pieces) and more sizes to try.
Pros:
- beautiful art
- well-designed puzzles (images suited to puzzles)
- suitable, pleasant music
- several different sizes of puzzle
- different shaped pieces for variety
- full control of the background colour (or you can use a softened version of the image)
- you can zoom in and out of your workspace (mouse wheel or keyboard)
- various shuffle, restart, and other functions that can all be accessed during play
- the developer seems responsive to feedback
Cons:
- the music is good; however, just one piece plays for the entire duration of a puzzle (each new puzzle has new music)
- no feature to help me sort pieces (edge pieces in particular)
- pieces are click and drag; it would be nice not to have to hold down the mouse button to move pieces (i.e., click picks piece up, second click sets piece down - reduces strain on wrist)
[ADDED] - having a few set colour backgrounds would be helpful (otherwise it takes some experimentation every time
[ADDED] - a few puzzles are very dark in smaller sizes
Overall: I'm very happy with my purchase. The price is right for the game play. The story provides a nice framework for the art and sequence of puzzles, but that's it. Buy the game if you enjoy doing puzzles, and especially if you like dragons and high fantasy settings.
