"Fun game with wacky physics (part of the charms)"
.
Just ride with your bicycle until the end on short circuits with holes on the road and other traps (and wear many different avatars each time you fall, explode, crash) .
Physics is maybe a little wacky (that's kind of game charms somehow) but that's fine to rage a little sometimes (or maybe it's easier on keyboard ? I use a controller and I'm certainly too bad to play with keyboard).
Infinite mode is nice but it seems to be not that much random (in my opinion).
Also you have to grab clocks on the road to gain more time to play (sometimes it may be a little tricky if badly placed).
[strike]Didn't tried coop mode yet with a friend (4 at max), but can't wait to do it.[/strike]
Coop mode are random runs...it could be nice to see an infinite mode for coop too !
Also that's really sad backgrounds for infinite and coop mode...it would be nice to see story backgrounds too, maybe ? (or others)
Why not night roads too and hexagonal plateforms and more traps and fans etc ?
My early score ->>> 3.5/5 bicycles
Steam achievements corner : That would be nice to see some more achievements added in future patches or else you'll unlock them all under 1-2 hours (max).
Watch Your Ride is an intensely fun, nonstop action, deviously challenging game. If you've got a grudge to settle with a friend, this is the perfect way to do it. You'll be bouncing between the amazing thrill of victory and the crushing shame of defeat at a ridiculous speed.
Technically speaking, the game runs smooth and we never encountered any problems with bugs, bad UI design, etc... The art looks great, the levels are well designed and tough, but fair. The local multiplayer is where this game really shines, though. There's no way we could possibly describe how fun this is to play with friends, so just check it out for yourself!

A cycling obstacle course game with seemingly random but masterable controls. The challenge mode gave me a run for my money and im sure i'll be setting up the race mode with my friends on remote play for many times over. It's not perfect but it is pretty good. get it slightly discounted.

This game is very bad. I refunded after 6 mins and would not play if it was free.
don't let the pretty pictures fool you, the "physics" make the game almost unplayable, unless that was the point to give the bicycle un-responsive steering and slide around corners like an ice cube. Either way not fun.

Given the number of delays this game had before release I don't even want to think what the game looked like back in April.
The steering is hilariously bad for a game that requires precision steering
The challenges to face are less numerous than random character skins, countless levels are just a rehash of the same obstacles. There's a general lack of content here. One of the obstacles is a high and low bar to jump through but without doing the jump once or twice it's pretty hard to tell how much you'll need to adjust the speed, without knowing the level I'm not sure how you can really judge that obstacle at all.
I have no idea what happens when you go through the sidewinds but the steering seems to change on it's own.
There's no lean/pitch control in the air or on the ground as far as I'm aware (it wasn't needed tho). There is however turning in the air, like completely changing trajectory which I also thought was weird.
Despite the awkward controls it's still not that hard, I completed the entire campaign with all achievements in <1.1hrs as I played online with a friend for a bit first then did the complete campaign and achievements afterwards.
The main difficulty does not come from the obstacles but a mixture of the controls and levels getting longer. e.g. the first levels are "complete in 11 seconds" and the last levels are "complete in 65 seconds" but the obstacles aren't really much different. Most levels were completed in 1 try at the achievement unlock pace, only a couple took multiple tries.
All that said, £6 for an hour of fun isn't awful and the multiplayer is kinda awful right now but might get better along with the rest of the game so I wont refund but I also wouldn't recommend it yet... This level of game completion is what I would expect a demo to be at. So to link back to my opening sentence, god knows what they had when they delayed the release the last like 4 or 5 times LMAO.
