I enjoyed this game, particularly the magical setting. Since it doesn't have a flowchart, you are probably going to want to use the walkthrough someone made here on steam. Also this game has only female/female pairings which is cool. I was a little disappointed the main character
always ends up the odd one out romantically though.
Got interested in this after starting the spin-off. The art is not as great but good enough. I would describe this as a psychological VN, exploring unhinged personalities and toxic relationships. While there is nothing gripping about the mystery part, it's interesting to explore each character and understand their motives.
It's also interesting to find out later that the unhinged main character turns out to be the most well-balanced character in this VN. And this is just me: Daniella is easily the best girl! The moe-gap is just...!!!
I got a 1/3rd of the way through and was getting bored with the whiny bile and going over and over the same stuff. It was "Investigate" rather than going to talk, so it was more like you are suspecting some person. Not Like you Want to date that person. So it just seemed a bit off to me. The behaviour of 2 Girls who One said are lifelong friends and would not date as it would damage their friendship,, yet they acted more like girlfriends at times. I had a hope and was let down. Oh well. On To Another I suppose.

This is precisely the reason why I prefer main characters simply being a blank canvas. The main character is so insufferable. Me, me, Lyra, Lyra. She goes on and on about things she has no clue about. She is the most judgmental of all the cast by constantly going on about how everyone around her feels some type of way about her. Sidney goes on and on about how Lyra was basically the greatest mentor ever, but it seems to me like she focused entirely on just being a friend for a hapless, under-achieving loser. "Lyra wouldn't let me make any mistakes, so you must not be such a good mentor because you're just wasting time." Wasting time trying to get you to LEARN because you're at a place of LEARNING. Because without Lyra, you probably couldn't even tie your own shoelaces with a simple spell or gesture. Or "I didn't need to learn that because I had Lyra." Well guess what? How'd that turn out for you, hmm? You cannot do a single thing on your own but you wish to honour Lyra? Such rubbish. The entire time I was just thinking, 'Am... am I supposed to like this character at all?'' When another girl would be call her out on Sidney own misguided snobbish words, I would actually be cheering for them instead! 'Yeah! Put that slacker in her place! >:O' Lyra may have failed you (greatly it seems) as a mentor, but they are still right: you are nothing but a hypocritical parasite without a host.

An underappreciated gem! A very nice visual novel, with first class background, CGs, character sprite work, music - I have literally no complaints. It was really nice to see a story deviate from the romantic norms of the VN genre and try something a bit different - I'd consider this more a story of personal recovery and self identity, with the murder mystery elements there primarily for tone. A spectacular, very welcome surprise. I'd love to see more!

A fun mystery to unravel, lots of ways to die, and a colorful and charming cast. Good gayme!

A really nice game. The intriguing mystery kept me going and it was surprisingly darker than I imagined. I beat the whole game and got all the endings. I'm quite excited for the next games of Quill Game Studios. Many players might pick their favorite girl, but definetly the main character, Sidney, was the one to catch my eye -- and my heart.

I really enjoyed this a lot. It's a nice little mystery with interesting characters and good endings. Really liked how more of the story unravelled with each one.

I really enjoyed this game! So much so that I ended up getting all of the CGs, backgrounds, and 11/13 of the endings. The story, the world that it's about, and the characters that inhabit it are all really interesting. After my first play-through I found myself wanting to play the other routes in order to find out more details about Lyra and the mystery around her. I also really enjoyed the game's art and the UI. I'd definitely recommend this game if you're looking for a mystery visual novel that takes place in a world filled with magic.

I had a lot of fun playing this vn! It's a whodunit set on a campus for magical girls (the best setting) where you play as Sidney, a student thrust into a situation where you must solve a murder case. There are five other characters in the game, which helps keep the story nice and focused. Of these five, there are two pairs of friends (with an odd character then left out) that tend to stick together and spend a lot of time with one another. There is still lots of interplay between both pairs, but a lot of the interactions between Sidney and the other characters are internally within these pairs. I really liked the contrast this creates as you play around with the game choosing different routes and seeing how the story unfolds from the different perspectives of these characters. This game begs to be played through to each of the many endings (even the ones where you
get turned into a crystal statue
or
get trapped in Wonderland
). Each playthrough offers you new insights into the events that have transpired as well as the motivations and personalities of the various characters (whom I should remind you, are all murder suspects!). By the time you reach the conclusion of the journey, having played through all the endings and learning everything that you can, you'll realize just how much your own understanding and perception has changed since the very beginning. It's definitely not the outcome you would have expected when you began the game! Do check this one out!
