A very relaxing game to play on your own. I really enjoy the ambient sounds and music used. Also fun to go through with others as it was interesting and a laugh to see how different people get suspicious at different things

This is the first time I have felt compelled to review a game. I loved the artwork, the music and the beautiful photography and visuals which all added to the nostalgic feel. The content is brilliantly conceived and executed with layers and layers to interest, entertain and grip you and you will not want to leave the game. It is simple to play with intuitive controls but keeps your interest throughout. The English countryside is evoked brilliantly with the enormous variety of characters and plots. I have enjoyed playing it alone and with my family and recommend this to all ages.

easy to play, easy time passer, refreshing and just quite pleasant to play. Doesnt disturb others with obnoxious noise which is great for lockdown and isolation- the birdsong is really quite lovely!

Great game, highly recommend! Love the choice in music, meant it could be relaxing while playing. I played with a couple a friends so this game can work socially too. Had a great balance for not revealing information too quickly but still enough to grip you. Very satisfying when you're starting to make some ground with your suspicions. We played the game continuously but definitely a game where you can break it up if you want! Overall, enjoyed.

If you would like to play this game for free, go to your mailbox, get a letter out, look at it, ask yourself if something is wrong with it, then shake a magic eightball and see what it says. That is this game exactly.

A really enjoyable game. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Can be played at your own pace, alone or with friends. Could easily be made into a tabletop/dinner party game. You can see my more in depth review here:

This game has been a great discovery for me. It is the ideal game to play if you want to relax and enjoy a peaceful hour or two. I would describe it as an artistic, slow moving game with a lot to appreciate. You are accompanied by beautiful scenes and music and one thing I really do love about this one is that there is great subtlety in the letters themselves. The detective style makes it a rewarding experience and it works particularly well to play collaboratively. In terms of the technical side of the game, I enjoy how the controls are really simple, there is even a menu you can click on throughout in case you forget. I would recommend this game to any ages from age 10 upwards. It is not fast moving or loud/scary and is a good game for the family. I think it is necessary to point out that to get the most out of this game you really have to delve into the letters and have fun with the characterisation.
If anyone is curious as to what you do, you are basically trying to determine some guilty characters in a little village: you are given letters to read and depending on their contents you deem them suspicious or not. Often I find myself chuckling at some letters or equally sometimes reading into things far too deeply..... I would advise keeping your wits about you and one has to be in the mood for reading. I am quite a fan of old letters, beautiful desks and quills and so I do recommend this game for anyone who wants to appreciate the good old days of stamps, ink and paper!

This game is so peaceful - the music and beautiful sound effects, plus the lovely countryside scenery, make me feel immersed in Pipshire. Each day there's a stack of letters to read through, and these can contain anything from poetry excerpts to hilarious bickering between residents, the added detective layer makes for a game that's hard to put down!!
