This game is actually like so good. Getting a good line is so satisfying. It's like pushing a cup of water further and further onto the edge of a table trying to stop it from falling. if it falls your cart goes smashing into the wall, there's a really big "campaign" made by the creator, but most maps are community made. There are mods and the community hosts unique gamemodes like "random track mode" "tournaments" etc. there are so many different track types too, and you can really feel the difference between the track styles of different creators, because there's so much room for creativity. track decoration is one of the best parts. sure people will play a good track with no decoration, but a sprawling irridecant alien landscape, driving around in massive macro scale cartoon landscapes, little miniature tracks with tiny bonzai trees. outer and inner tube tracks, fractal cone tracks, one minute you can find yourself treversing r'lyeh and the next you could be hopping over a western style train, or being eaten by a dragon. it's amazing.
