The writing is top notch, absolutely adored playing through this game. There were a couple of solutions that felt like I had tried that already, but that is the nature of point and click games. I can't stress enough how silly this zany hypnosis-fueled president-killing romp is. It really does hit that perfect spot for me.

Thank you, Steve Purcell, for creating these two, seemingly out of nowhere, as there is nothing else like them or their world anywhere else. Thank you, TellTale, for finally understanding what is special about Sam & Max in your second go-round with them and putting it front and center (and centering the puzzle logic on who Sam & Max are, and not on random point/click-puzzle crap). Thanks, Skunkape, for reviving them AGAIN. And also to Steam. I guess.

as a long time sam and max fan, this game is a solid adaptation of its 2006/2007 counterpart, while there are certainly some changes i don't agree with regarding the removal of certain dialogue and voice actors (and it certainly threw me off when an item location was changed here and there) i understand why those decisions were made and after a while i certainly got used to said changes. only real problem is the way they changed controller compatibility, and while you can certainly get used to it, they already had a superior method back on the xbox 360 in 2007. 10/10 always recommend these two idiots
