Probably one of the shortest VN I'd played.

I enjoyed playing Alchemy Absorption: Melody at the moment I have to try and figure out the third ending since I'm missing one cg. Overall this is a good visual novel

There's effectively only one path, if you don't max affection they game will abruptly end at key points. The setting is half assed AF, and the MC is a touch too soft and placating for my liking but its a short read and left me with positive feelings if nothing else.

A cute romantic visual novel with an interesting setting, though it was shorter and shallower than I'd like, and the mechanics for the magic being very simple and based on RPG rules was somewhat dull. I also would've liked more romantic routes instead of just the Dark Fairy/Succubus's, but I really loved the concept of trying to differentiate love vs lust in a romantic plot. It was annoying that there was exactly one specific route through all the dialogue choices that lead to the good ending, with ALL other choices leading to bad ends, but it wasn't too time-consuming to have make a different and continue the story. There's no h-content, just a middle-aged Dark Fairy with very appealing "proportions" and VERY skimpy outfits, but it does have a nice after story to the romance. The art and music were very nice quality, and avoided overstaying their enjoyment due to the short length of the novel. I'd give this a 7.3 or 7.5/10 (above average, bordering on very good) for a short visual novel, and I can recommend it to those wanting a quick, cute romance, but you'd need to be cautious of where you read it due to the raunchy outfits...

Well I got this game for just over $1 and it was very cute! Took me about 6 hours and although there were minor plot holes (if you think too hard about it) the story is very cute and your character gets to romance the "succubus" teacher in the rpg magic academy. The PROS are that you get to experience a heartfelt story with comedy, romance, flirting, and monsters. The CONS are that it's very lighthearted and just a cute story that doesn't delve to much into logic or anything too inspiring (aside from a cute romance). So my CONCLUSION is that I recommend this if you like monster girl/guys, romance, and a lighthearted rpg that doesn't go into detail about rpg aspects and may have some tiny minor plotholes. Very Cute. Loved IT!

I have started my journey through the endless stream of perverted games, visual novels specifically, and as I delve deeper and deeper into the boobie jungle I feel I have developed a taste. A taste for quality, a taste for beauty, of complexion, and of course, a taste for anime tiddie. Here are my thoughts on Alchemy Absorption Melody after playing the first 60 minutes of the game: -Art (5/10): The style of the characters gives me early to mid 2000s anime vibes. it's amateur art for a visual novel that is slightly above low grade. The backgrounds could use more depth and better lighting, the entire game appears washed out with a generic daytime mood. It's not bad art, it does it's job. I do however dislike the character designs, there is hardly anything special about the 4 characters that do have art to them, asside from the sister Asteria. Asteria's design is done really well, it's cute, iconic, and very well themed to her personality. Music (2/10): The music, which some may say is not an important factor (I disagree), is sub par. If I recall, it has one quite dull looping classical track. There is a certain song that comes on when sexual situations occur, but it too is a weak track, a simple bass line with some percussion. I would have liked to see more from the soundtrack despite the small size of this game, even adding another track and adding more sounds to the current tracks would be a massive improvement. Story (5/10): The story of the game (for the first hour) is as follows. MC and his sister join a magic academy, both quickly discover they lean more on the gifted side of magicians. They go through the first classes and few days at school. They have 4 classes, sharing the first 2 together. The first class the teacher dislikes the MC for no reason, the last class is the most important to the story as it is Melody's. She is a "Dark Fairy" (aka succubus) who is stronger than most. She takes a liking to the MC due to his ability to resist her intoxicating magic more than most, but not completely. The headmistress of the school shows more compassion to the MC than seems normal and Melody tells the MC to be careful around her. The story calls for the MC to choose who he will go dungeon exploring with for the rest of the semester, and at that point I ran out of time on my hour. As you can see, there is nothing compelling or particularly deep about this. The writing is really cute though, and the characters have unique personalities and ways of interacting with the MC. I am curious to see where the story goes, the fact that everything seems fine now makes me want to play more because, surely, it can't stay this way. Genre Bonus (7/10): This category applies to the specific genre of the work, for this one, it is an ecchi visual novel, and there for, this category is judging the games sex appeal. The lead, Melody, is very nice looking. She has a cute personality rather than the typical over-experienced sultry woman vibe that most succubus characters would have (She still has this aspect to her character though). Her cute and kind demeanor makes her very attractive, especially when she gets a little flirty with the MC. I would of appreciated more flavor text building up the the tense moments, there really isn't much. In the first hour of playing, there was only 1 CG I encountered (of which I believe there is 5 or 6 in the game, I can then assume that as the story picks up they will appear more often, I theorize this is a 4.5 hour game or less). The CG was okay, nothing to gaga over. It's just Melody sitting on a desk with her legs crossed. This could have been much sexier. It's about the level of a very mild sex appeal right now, think Blair from Soul Eater, or Camille from Fates. There was a part in the story where the MC and his sister describe their experience in the schools bathhouse, and that it is a coed bath, however nothing sexual comes up in their different experiences, and there are no CG's of the MC's time there or any art of the bath scene at all, he just speaks of it, despite the fact that he claims to have run into and talked to the headmistress at the baths. I theorize this will change in the future and he will run into Melody there. I suspect the creator will not give any art to the other female characters. I am confused on their roles in the game at this time if they don't have any CG's. The reason this is 7/10 instead of 5 or 6/10, is that I find older female leads to be a great bonus to any story, especially teachers. In conclusion, this game reached a total score of 19/40. It is truly a mid par visual novel in the first hour. It is ramping up though, and I feel this score may change. I would still personally recommend you check it out, only of course, if you are interested in the cute and bubbly Melody, as she is the star of the game. It doesn't take much for me to want to play a VN, and this could definitely of been worse and I probably still would want to play a little more.

Important note first: Steam did not track my time in game correctly, but I did 100% it.^^ Alchemy Absorption: Melody is building a very interesting world in this game that I would love to explore some more, Melody is an amazing character and really one to fall in love with. I just wish I could spend more time with other characters, personally finding Eliza a very interesting character to get to know better (not necessarily in a romantic sense). This is once again a gem from RhinoGearz, that is sadly not gathering enough attention.

No actual nude scenes or sex scenes, just sexy CG and short story. I don't recommend on full price but if about 50% off then it's fine.

Wow, just like I expected I just really love RhinoGearz Visual Novels. The writing, story telling and just in general how he likes to form romance stories and relationships just really fits with my own personal likings. You play a young guy entering a magic academy and finding the love of your life in it. The relationship development is really nice and I also really enjoyed the overall story apart from the romance itself. Considering that you also get around 4 hours of story and that it is only 2 euro, I will never understand why his games dont take off more. For this price you wont find anything better on steam when it comes to romance VNs and just overall positive story telling. If you are looking for a positive and very relaxing read then highly recommended. There is no r18 content though so if you are looking for that you might want to look elsewhere. If you care about story though and not just visuals then its really great. Apart from that the art itself is also pretty good and really if you consider the price you cant expect anything more from this VN. 9/10 Check out my Curator Page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/34401214/
