Great game and great scares I would say playing with a friend is more fun but if you want the full scare then do it alone

I kept trying to play this game only to feel like I was in a waking nightmare every step of the way... This game looks really good!
And it really creeps me out... I hate the dark.... Like bruh.... Why does this game have to exploit this... It's not fare :C

I enjoyed playing "Project Terminus VR" so far. Played with Valve Index and streamed on a 3080 without any issues.
The survival aspect for people not used to it (like me) is a bit strong (regarding batteries or save points). It would be cool if we get some sort of "Story Mode" and/or more (manual) savepoints in the future to avoid some long repetetive things. Quitting the game near the end of chapter 2 led to doing it all over again unfortunately. Also having a story mode without survival aspect could attract more people that usually avoid "survival" games.
From a streamers perspective the game runs like a charm so far for me. Running in the background in windowed mode while playing constant audio and not having graphic issues or performance problems is what many games lack of.
The story so far is interesting and you want to proceed to find out what is going on. And the ideas are great: It connects with Steam and gets your profile picture and nickname into the game for further use within. As I usually do not look too deep into games I am wanting to stream I was very surprised about some movement ideas. Something like shaking your arms for running is not that new, but cool to have in a VR game as mostly VR games should require the gamer to be an active part. Later on I was surprised I suddenly had to "move on" with something else I did not expect and not yet experienced in another game (no spoilers). So thumbs up for great ideas and details.
I have not tried the multiplayer yet, but again a great idea to play the game with friends and not wandering around alone in that oppressing atmosphere.
The devs are open to feedback and suggestions. Clearly not everything can be done or do not match their idea of the game, but they will definetly listen.
So far for the Index controllers we have a bit of a too sensitive grabbing, so I would suggest leave your hands open while playing, and sometimes there is a "press X" overlay which should be "press A". But apart from that everything runs fine on Index and probably these two minor flaws will be fixed in the future.
Thumbs up. :)

CAVEAT:
What i played was fun, albeit it was still in early access at the time i played, so things were glitching out of the map, like flashlights (which you need in order to navigate). So, expect it to feel like an early access game. I wanted to come back recently and checkout the updates, but found that I had to link my steam account to an account that i needed to create on their website. That was a big red flag for me personally. So, I have not played since. Not sure why they did this, other titles have not done this. So, i can't really see a reason why they would. I won't register an account with them, and have uninstalled the game. HOWEVER, if that does not concern you, then give the game a go.

Just completed this and I have to say I had a blast. I played the whole game in coop and thoroughly enjoyed it! Yes it's a bit janky, and maybe some of the graphics are questionable but the overall mood of the game is great. Loads of different environments, just the right level of challenging, loads of hours of fun.

Everyone seems to give the Jank a pass, I dont understand why though. Its terrible, and not in a charming way, sometimes the jank makes things unplayable. The amount of controller drift i had would sometimes walk me into a corner for 40 seconds at a time. My friends right arm just disappeared until and he was unable to use it until he died. the backpack and phone nvr wants to get pulled out. Having to go prone to pick things off the floor is so 2006. Thats a no from me dawg.

Played with Valve Index
Running simulator, not scary at all, zombies? almost non-existent after more than an hour of playing Coop we literally found 2 zombies behind some bars, I don't understand the need of carrying weapons if nothing ever happens. We just had to find pieces to get off the terminal, still nothing ever happened.

This is my first horror vr experience I forced myself through.
I never sweated as much as I did playing this game.
It is a true horror show and if you like horror games you will enjoy this one.
There is some minor bugs but the developers work fast and are very helpfull.
When the game came out the index controllers didnt work and they fixed it the same day.
Im looking forward for what the developers have in stock next for the game.

Premium Indie Gameplay // Played on Quest 2 Virtual Desktop
It has still some gameplay drawbacks , that gives to the overall "thriller" experience.
While the graphics are not the best , they look Great in VR and the lighting is highly realistic !
9/10 !!
(considering its price and that its early access )

I have been watching this one for a few months now and waiting with anticipation for it to be released. I was not disappointed!
Project Terminus has a very Half-Life Alyx type feel, although I would argue the atmosphere in this game is WAY more tense and has you constantly jumping at every little noise (the ambient sounds in this game are pretty amazing and just add to the realism and immersion), Gameplay mechanics seem well thought out (and I am sure will be refined as the game continues to be developed). Graphics are really good and there was a lot of detail put into the environment. The devs clearly put a lot of love into this game and I can't wait to see what the finished product will look like!
Have not tried multiplayer yet, but decided the campaign was too awesome (and scary) to do alone and I have convinced several friends to buy this game. They were as excited as I was once I told them about Project Terminus. I really can't wait to try this with a group of people. It is going to be one of the most fantastic VR experiences just based on what I experienced in the solo player campaign.
Speaking of the devs, fantastic! Devs are responsive and engaged with the community. They care about this game. Game currently only has snap turning (which I find disorienting so I cannot play games for long periods at a time when that is the only option for turning), but after mentioning turn options on the Steam forums, devs added smooth turning to their roadmap, prompting me to buy this instead of waiting. Devs also fixed an issue with the Index controllers after feedback from the community when the game had been out less than 24 hours.
So far this has been a fantastic VR experience that's only going to get better. I am definitely looking forward to watching this game grow and develop!
EDIT: Got a chance to play on the multiplayer over the weekend. Definitely a ton of fun with multiple people. Do wish the batteries would last a bit longer, especially in multiplayer when people get separated and you need circle back to go looking for them, but overall a super fun experience.
