best in this genre I've played. Wish they would come out with more versions.

It doesn't get any simpler than this: I played for 52 hours, beat every puzzle, and loved every minute of it. If you enjoy nonogram puzzles, this game is for you.

Listen, I know this looks like a weird subpar facebook game and the fact that it's locked at 1366x768 resolution doesn't help either. It is still, however, an awesome Picross game with a ton of content. Your starting puzzles are 15x10, and they go all the way up to 40x30 - this is much larger than your average Picross game, and the fact that there are 200 of such puzzles makes it a very content-rich game. I have plenty of experience with the genre and this still took me 40-50 hours to solve. I had to idle in offline mode to get the 100 hours achievement though (which somehow isn't reflected in my total playtime). Like many other games you get extra medals for solving levels without mistakes, without hints, and under the time limit. While time limits can be a little harsh in early smaller puzzles they become practically a non-issue later. Naturally, all puzzles can be solved without guessing - well, except for one which slipped through testing somehow, there's a small problem at the end but it can be forgiven, I mean 99.9% of it is good. Very challenging sometimes too, some puzzles took me a good while to solve. I would suggest disabling the multi-color feature though. The three previous games of these series are simply alright - they're not as great as some other Picross games but they still have enough content and QoL features to be decent. But this installment is better and worth playing. Maybe you should consider buying the whole bundle on a sale.

One of the better nonogram games on Steam. It has the features you need to properly play this game. Left click for a regular block, right click to put a negative block. You can drag accross the titles and it wont delete the previous blocks. It has a counter when you select multiple cells. And the biggest feature you can activate is that once the correct number of blocks are filled for a row or column the rest of the blocks are automatically put to negative blocks. Compared to the other 3 Gizmos games this game got a lot bigger puzzles which will keep you entertained for even longer. Besides having option to add color to the picture (doesnt affect gameplay) and different achievements the game is the same for the rest as the earlier games.

i've bought all the Gizmo games and i've really enjoyed them, but if you're a completionist do not get this entry in the series unless you're prepared to idle the game as your primary window a lot. the developer severely overestimated the time a player would spend to solve these puzzles and as a result there are 50 hour playtime and 100 hour playtime cheevos that are unable to be gotten organically while playing. my own playtime is inflated by me purposefully leaving the game running while i walked off just to try and get the 50hr cheevo at least. obviously that didn't work, because i have at least nine more hours according to the in-game clock to "play" just to get that one. i estimate that i have probably four to five hours of idle inflation, so you can expect to solve all available puzzles in well under forty hours if you go at a steady clip. I AM STILL GIVING THIS A POSITIVE RECOMMENDATION because this is a perfectly fine picross game to play and compliments the other Gizmo games very well. if you're just in it for the puzzles, then give this one a try, you won't waste your time.
