Great game. I've played the old flash one and this one keeps everything that was good and improves it with better graphics and new stuff. Totally recommended

Can't believe they went back and remade this absolute classic from my childhood. Remember not being able to play more than a few levels before there was some sort of lock stopping me but now I can finally experience this game in full! Very good remake and gameplay just like how I remember it!

Having originally finished Farm frenzy 1 and 2, this is a faithful "refreshing" exactly as i remember
with new additions and upgrade systems and the farm hub thingy which is a nice second goal from the levels.
The only annoyance i've found so far is that on the level screen you have to go in each level, load it, and then you get the goals for that level, a hover over feature would be great.
And i'm still in the single digit levels but i wish there will be like an hour long highscore focused level way later on where you can build and buy everything just trying to get a highscore.

I used to play the old Alawar Farm Frenzy games back in the day. I have to say that if you enjoyed those then you will probably enjoy this. It hits the same beats, and has as the same game play loops. The graphics look good, it plays well on my PC, and I didn't see any bugs. It apparently has around 110 levels or so if the level map is to be believed, so there is plenty of content.
This is an old school time management game. Animals shed eggs, meat, and who knows what else. You click on them to gather these products. You can sell them or use them craft other items in buildings around your playing field. There are a few goals, and time limit to get the most blue diamonds from completing the level quickly. This is a fast paced game.
It's not perfect. It feels a little grinding to me. Some of the level seem like they would be very hard to complete without certain upgrades, for example. If you don't have enough diamonds it purchase an upgrade, then you are going to repeat levels or take a real long time to complete new levels.
It feels like it might have been designed around F2P at some point, but then it got turned into a pay up front game. At least there is no cash shop

First 50 levels I really enjoyed this game. Both the mechanics of building your farm instead of map as in 1 and 2 parts, the seasons thing, breaking factories for the sake of four stars and graphics. It was a new breath for the franchise. I am a fan of old games, don't get me wrong. However, this game was a new experience for me.
Now about the downsides. It's unbalanced and raw as heck. In previous game everything was measured that you don't need to beat later games to gain enough currency to go further. Only experience. I bet the first and the second Farm Frenzy with gold for all levels. I didn't need to go at least past a level with one star to get access to the equipment to then past this level with all stars. Only experience. Come on, spend 6 minutes because the game didn't make it clear that I needed to make an upgrade of a specific factory to pass the level for even two stars and stay for much more time just to beat this level? Before 50th levels the "recommended" sign was at a right time, and after that both the challenges and warnings stopped working as they should as if creators just became lazy. Speaking of laziness.
Object boxes for animals are too small, so we have cows mushing into each other. The prompts mechanic is also awful. It just blocks the screen unless you wait for it to play. Once I tried to be faster and do one of the tasks in the beginning. After that the game crashed. It didn't closed, I had to play without words. All of them disappeared from buttons, instructions, prompts, etc.
Then we have problem with sound. When more than three sounds play (ex: bear noises, animal noises and game music), and then we go to the transport menu - we have a bass boosted effect. Almost always.
Grabbing products and upgrading equipment is too unfair. You've got a cat and 30 products? Most likely you will lose 5-10 products. In 1 and 2 games you didn't need this much and you always could rely on your cats. Here even with 3 cats in the autumn you will still lose products. In this part cats only make it a bit easier, but your chances are still low when you need to prepare many difficult dishes. Prepare to buy products each 20 seconds, I guess.
The achievements are boring. In 1 and 2 games they were far more challenging. Not simply upgrading, not catching bears and catching food in the air, but collecting all types of products, spending more than 20 minutes in a game, not losing animals. That's what made Farm Frenzy fun even after achieving all levels. Not this garbage achievements, that are a part of game journey.
In conclusion, this game isn't worth spending your time on. Play 1 and 2 Farm Frenzy instead, or different games.

Farm Frenzy Refreshed is fun to play and has all the fun elements we've loved since the very first Farm Frenzy! I also love that this game works on iOS :D

As a farmer, I hear lots of jokes about sheep.
I’d tell them to my dog but he’d herd them all.
I absolutely love that they remade farm frenzy, I absolutely loved this game as a kid and so I decided to try the refreshed and its great!

Fan of the Farm Frenzy franchise? Definitely give this game a try. Similar mechanics to all the other games, with a twist on what you can spend your stars and diamonds on. Unlike in previous versions, where you are guided to unlock building upgrades in the main shop in a particular order, you'll have to make the decisions for yourself. They kept the gameplay fresh without messing with the farm management that is a hallmark of the series.
A few drawbacks to this game: the amount of time that you have to click on a resource before it disappears has decreased. You also can't pick up multiple, overlapping objects with one click. This edition comes with a built-in walkthrough and not all solutions are accurate.
Overall, though, a lot of fun and refreshed, but not irritatingly reimagined, version of Farm Frenzy.

The number of hours I had spent playing this game is the amount of hours I had struggled to complete this game. I like cooking and farming games but this game is a torture. As the levels are getting more difficult, I felt lost and had no idea where to start for every level because there are too many tasks need to be completed at the same time. (plus keeping track of the missing items). Even when I followed the given walkthrough, I still won’t get three stars, let alone the extra or the purple star.
I felt some of the features or the game mechanisms didn't really make sense.
[list]
[*]The level of the equipments must be matched with the level of difficulties. If the playing level requires the equipment to be in level 2, you have to upgrade the equipment, else you won’t be able to finish the playing level more than 2 stars.
[*]You need to have enough gems to upgrade the equipment. It means you have to do well in every level to accumulate enough of gems to upgrade the equipment.
[*]The equipment upgrade doesn’t mean you really upgraded the equipment. It just offer you the option to upgrade the equipment during the game. For example, you upgraded the kitchen to cook two bacon and eggs at the same time. It doesn’t mean you can do it in the game. You have to pay additional coins to upgrade the kitchen to level 2 when playing the level and then, you only can cook two bacon and eggs at the same time.
[*]Produces such as eggs from the ducks or bacons from the pigs can gone missing faster during autumn OR your warehouse is full. I really don’t like this idea. The produces won’t stay there and wait for you to reduce the storage and the worst is the idea of missing items during autumn.
[*]Sometimes, ordered items missing if you are not fast enough to pick up those items and you need to spend more money to re-order.
[*]The farm is chaotic if you buy a lot of animals and you need to pick up the produces at the same time. And if it’s autumn or the warehouse is full, the produces or your ordered items will be gone if you are not fast enough to pick them up among the animals. If it’s winter, you have to defrost some of the animals. While managing all these, some levels have bears go after your animals and you have to put a cage on them before they kill your animals. If the well is empty and you are not fast enough to refill the water, some of your animals are gone as well.
[*]There is a walkthrough for each level if you are lost or not sure what to do because there is so many things happening at the same time in each level. However, some of the given walkthroughs not consistent with the playing level.
[*]The farm upgrade is expensive, and the equipment requires a lot of gems.
[*]Some levels require to reach the goal of certain amount of money. It doesn’t mean you will be earning a lot of money in those levels that don’t have the monetary goal. One of the achievements is to finish the level without picking up any produces by yourself. The only way to do it is to buy a cat which cost $2000. You have to pay extra money to upgrade the equipments to do your work faster. There isn’t enough extra money to get luxurious to buy a $2000 cat.
[*]There are too many tasks in every level. There are two different equipments at one place and once you finish doing the first task, you have to pay the secondary equipment to do the other task.
[*]Probably it’s easier to revisit those previous levels which are not in three stars and replay following the walkthrough.
[*]The cat supposed to pick up everything and send to the warehouse but most of the time, it misses some of the produces and you have to pick it up yourself.

TL;DR - Manage farm in a limited time for 3 - star ratings
What it is in a nutshell?
You will have a level, objectives and a time limit to complete said objective.
This formula is looped throughout the entire game, with several in between features just for flavour.
An example:
- Collect 3 eggs
Chickens lay eggs, click them
- Collect 3 pancakes
2 Eggs make a pancake, click the machine to do it
- Get 500 money
Sell some eggs, pancake, or animals
If you did all of that within 1 minute = 3 stars, take longer = less stars
IMPORTANTLY, Since the simple design it might seem stale, however the levels have an impressive amount of variations, you can get 0 chickens, 1 cow
or nothing and some money
or nothing but chickens
overall, there are plenty of unique game mechanics (animals, resources, item upgrades) to keep the levels interesting and rewarding
