I estimate that more than half of the players who bought this game are Chinese, but it is not translated into Chinese. I saw the homepage of the production team is an Australian company and I know why.

What the hell. I bought this game like 2 years ago on sale, and forgot I even had it in my library. Installed it out of the blue, and can't put it down. Completely subverted my expectations.
- Deep campaign/theater simulation. Decode encrypted intel, manage your radar signature, infrared track incoming strike fleets and avoid them. Launch nukes! WTF!
- Manage your fleet economy. Buy fuel, weapons, different ammo types, ship parts.
- Fight pitched battles in the sky where your pilot skills make all the difference. You can win a 5v1 if you are skilled enough.
- Fully customize every aspect of your ships. Gun angles, radar, missile tubes, fuel tanks, crew compartments, engine thrust... its pretty overwhelming!
- Immersive story which kind of reminds me of Dune
oh... and all of that, while having one of the craziest UIs I have ever seen in a game. Radar nobs to change detection angles, functioning pencil protractor and compass... wtf! HUD elements that mix classic cockpit feels from movies like Top Gun, and some kind of A10 Warthog simulator.
100% read the manual. This game is super deep, but does not hold your hand very well.

I haven't gone through HighFleet to the end, but the game is made with a lot of love, Konstantin Koshutin has already proved to me how skillful he is in creating his games, and Hammerfight will be an example of that, so I hope we will see Hammerfight 2 someday. Anyway, I wish Konstantin the best of luck in all his future projects.

God this game needs more love. Its rough, to this day it still has some quirks and bugs, which is terrible. I finally beat it after almost 100 hrs, and i just dont think ill ever play it again. I really hope Micro prose makes another game in this universe, but i doubt it. Deus In nobius.

If you want a very realistic dieselpunk game that has chaotic but accurate fleet combat this is the game for you I just wish for more to be added to the sandbox mode or even a endless mode where you can face lots of enemies and more. I hope the dev is still active.

Amazing yet flawed game. Oozes aesthetic to an overwhelming amount. The fleet command layer can leave you frozen with paralysis through analysis. The tactical combat could have been adequate as a standalone experience. Game is very close to perfect. Needs some UX options, there's a few minor glitches. Game is hard and fun.
