Good fun. I definitely recommend it. There are a few quirks of controls (pinching requires both finger and thumb, which sounds "right" but just feels wrong and cumbersome) and menu system that I wish games would move away from. The menu controls are like the holodoeck control panels in Star Trek: TNG. They take you out of the game. Always. Making them feel part of the world doesn't help immersion. You're just making me fumble with controls. Make the control interface as simple and quick as possible so you can get back in the game. That's immersion. I would love to explore the strategy and where to put points and build a good deck, but that interface fights me every time The sense of "on your feet" strategy hints at some wonderful potential that, if I built a good deck and put the points in the right area, would just add power to the different ways to play.

This this really cool! This game has many flaws: awkward one-hand bow shooting (you're guiding shoot with just one hand instead of two like in typical archer game), very poor visuals and poor performance (especially for those visuals) Controls are clunky and don't always work. But despite all these flaws the game is addicting and fun! For it's price it's a steal!

This game is good fun, You get a limited amount of arrows that refill over time and Mana to spawn Troops, Traps or Use a Spell. As you progress you unlock more to help you win the battles and accomplish the 3 objectives per Level. There are also Upgrades to yourself and to your troops. After two hours of gameplay I managed to get 3 stars on Levels 1-10 going back to a few after upgrading. There seems to be 40 levels so far so I'm guessing its a 6-8 hr play through at release. I recon they'll be updates to smooth out the niggles like the UI being a bit clunky and not being able to Un-knock your arrow. If you want to see a bad quality stream to kind of get an idea. https://youtu.be/CsmCSzijo4w All in All, this is a fun game to play!

A good Archery VR game with a lot of content for a cheap price. Played on: Oculus Rift S Your goal is to destroy the enemy's tower while defending yours. You can use your bow, minions, traps and spells. Though only your minions can damage the enemy's tower. You are constantly regenerating arrows and magic to use everything else. Once you have completed a level you are rewarded gold and up to 3 stars depending on bonus objectives you met. Movement is teleportation between pre-defined spots with the player pushing up on a control stick to enable teleportation, with some spots requiring you to unlock with magic before you can move to it. You can rotate with the right stick with snap rotation. Between the levels you can change which minions, traps and spells you can use in-game, upgrade your magic and other abilities, and unlock new cosmetics for both your bow and your avatar. There is also Multiplayer in the game but I haven't tested it as I'm more of a solo player. Positive: - Good tutorial explaining how everything works - A good mix between defending your base, while summoning minions, traps, spells, and using your bow. - It was quite challenging as you can't just spam arrows, you have to use your minions and the minions are the only ones that can damage the enemy's tower. - Random drops of arrows, magic refills, gold and powerups provide incentives to keep teleporting between each spot. - Each minion has their own stats, and cost leading to you choose what minions are ideal for you. - Every couple of levels instead of defending your base, you are target shooting stages while on a moving platform. - There is also a boss in the game, although I haven't reached it yet. - It's cheap for the amount of content in the game. I've only cleared around 8 levels out of 30 or 40 levels. And each level can take around 2 - 10 minutes. - I've had no crashes or bugs Neutral: - Using the bow will take a little while to get used to as it tends to aim mainly with the hand you are holding it with. - Your bow can't really shoot far - Sound effects don't really stand out, music is fine though - Can only tell how much magic or arrows I have by looking down at my hands. Could really use a magic bar that the player can always see. - You will need to replay some levels to get more gold and stars to upgrade your abilities - The shooting target stages you will only be able to get a single star as you simply can't generate arrows quickly enough - You can quickly speed through a lot of the levels by simply teleporting to the last teleportation spot and then spawning your troops close to the enemy base Negatives: - Little to no options on adjusting in-game graphics, features, and controls. You can adjust some minor things like the language and switch between which hand is holding the bow. You can't adjust how far you have to pull the string, smooth rotation isn't in the game, and you can't adjust the size of the user interface. - Navigating through all menus take a bit of time as you have to shoot your bow to confirm, cancel or move between menus. - You also navigate through the menus with big buttons you push, though I have ended up pushing them by accident multiple times, as your bow can also push the buttons. You also need to aim above these buttons with your bow to confirm your changes. Changing this to just pointing at what you want would be easier. - It's hard to tell between which minions are ranged, and which are melee as the icons are quite small at a distance - There's one shooting stage (Stage 13 I think) where you are on horse back and the camera is being bumped, rotating and moving on it's own will. This stage did give me some nausea. A lot of the negatives are things that can be fixed with patches and the core game is still quite fun. For the price this game is going for, it's quite good and I can gladly recommend it.
