This is a very short text adventure and not everything about the mystery is explained by the end, but it is very well written. I like the style of it particularly. A lot of early text adventures have you exploring huge areas with perhaps a little introductory story in the manual and then maybe a surprise twist at the very end. This one keeps you in the story all the time and exploration areas are kept to a couple of rooms at a time. I think this style uses the format to its best advantage. You just read a clever short story and solve a few puzzles now and then.
I think it's definitely worth the $5 just for the clever dialogue and observations of the main character. The sense of humor is very strong.
