Loved the aesthetic and getting to know all the characters. Wish I could live in this town with a cute witchy cottage and garden

Its a bit repetitive, and seems sort of like im stuck in a loop. The dialouge also goes on for quite a while and some of the sound effects are stange. But i like the art style and the mechanic behind making things. I wouldnt reccomend it to anybody who gets bored easily

Really fun and interesting! I liked how instead of absurd magic, everything here was earthly and grounded. The spells just kinda enhanced the characters' preexisting feelings, making them act in an out of usual manor, but not entirely contradictory to their being. I've never had much interest in crystals, flowers, incense, color meanings, tarot readings, ect. My knowledge is vague about this spiritual stuff, but it was really neat seeing it used by this witch throughout the game. The eccentric nature of our main character was entertaining too! I'm glad they weren't some bland joe shmo. I also think I learned a little bit of some things to try for myself! Everything about this game was pretty nice, my one and only gripe is that I can't load up a save file to get the other achievements, gotta play from start every time without a way to skip dialogue.

I was so into the story I finished it in one day ! I love the story and the fact that the focus is not on the romance but on the community in the village. The designs is gorgeous, I'm in love with the way the potions are designed and how we make them. If I could point something negative, it would be that you can find spelling mistakes several times in the game, but otherwise, it's an excellent game.

If you loved Stardew Valley and Strange Horticulture, this game is for you. Garden to tend, potions to make and people to meet and create relationships with. The game is sadly very short, but I recommend looking up a walkthrough because I failed at the harvest which is a halfway mark a few times. Beautiful cosy vibe and a wonderful escape - hoping the devs release a patch update or another chapter!

This game is incredibly repetitive. It is a click and read game, that's all you do, ever. Its a visual novel with some click gardening. The MC is an insufferable, egotistical snob. They are the misunderstood black sheep of the family and no one lets them do whatever they want and how dare there be consequences. Just picture the most stereotypical bratty rich kid and you have the idea. The conversation options aren't actually options, like when I was trying to not steal things from someone's yard and teehee, the MC does that very thing anyway. And you are forced to mess with your own spells, throwing them out of whack and well, thats lying to someone who trusted you to make them something helpful and you don't tell them you altered the magic item. Naturally there is consequences for that, but you don't get an option to NOT do that. Its very morally gross. I am pretty sure the one option I picked broke a grandma into a manic pixie valley girl. I was getting options to flirt/romance with every available NPC by the THIRD in game day. You are brand new to this village, total strangers. Its just incredibly weird. I do like that the romance options are highlighted differently because it meant there wasn't any uhoh romance. You can't name your familiar. Character creation leaves something to be desired but there is a good selection of pronouns and 3 different body types that aren't all skinny. You can customize the altar, but its not actually what you pick when you are out in the main room menu. So it kind of defeats the purpose of making it your own. The art style is cute. The premise could be cute but it reads very hallmark channel big city snob goes to the country to learn some empathy and how to make friends with the possibility of romance. If there is any character development for the MC I somehow doubt I will get to that point in the game because that personality is just rancid. What's the point of character creation when you are stuck playing an a**hole?

it's a cute game but for some reason i couldn't get one of the stones so it made it impossible to get a perfect ending :(

Very sweet and I liked the character and spell designs. The gameplay was a little too simple and repetitive, though.

I'm conflicted on whether I do or don't recommend this game, and that's part of why I'm choosing to leave a review. I'm going to leave a pro and con list plus my own feelings and thoughts, and you can determine what you prioritize! Gonna rip the band-aid off and start with cons, but I did play 6 and a half hours prior to leaving the review! So it's not all bad! Cons (and they're pretty big ones if you prefer story rich games): - You have next to no say in your characters' personality. They're pretty self absorbed, stuck-up, and careless regarding consequence. - There come multiple points when you experiment with your creations in unknown ways with unknown effects. You, as the player, have no say in whether or not your character does this, and it does impact the story. (more in comments) - Not many romanceable characters. The devs didn't really hide the amount, so it wasn't deceptive; it just feels like very limited engagement. Maybe if there was a longer time frame or more than one interaction per day I'd feel differently. - While there is some minor character development, the conclusion felt lacking. (more in comments) - No replayability imo - Endless mode felt cheap and pointless. I'd LOVE if it were a way to engage with villagers after the main storyline. It'd be great to continue fulfilling orders and actually feel like a part of the community you grew to love. I genuinely think this one change would have be enough to tip the scales into a glowing recommendation. Pros: - WONDERFUL visuals. Vibrant color palette, nailed the cute aesthetics, and the art style is filled with so much modern storybook whimsy. I want to live in this little world. Sincerely. Also Devin is my type to a T. Where are you, Devin? Why aren't you mine? - For having a fairly limited amount of villagers, the personalities were diverse and endearing. I enjoyed that the cut scene type moments often involved other villagers, so you could get a feel for the nonsensical vibes of the community. - The audio! I don't have much to say beyond the fact that it was pleasant to listen to! - The potion crafting and gardening mechanics were simple, but not so basic that I thought it dull. I found them to be a relaxing way to start the in-game day. Comments: - As far as messing with the deliveries after they were already crafted- I hated this feeling while playing the game, personally. Your character has no clue what the reaction will be, and it felt wrong to me. I wish there had been an option to not alter the potions, and if you did choose to, it could have just added points to the chaos route (there are multiple endings). It absolutely felt non-consensual, but also too casually brushed off the fact that we could have murdered someone by adding unknown ingredients/variables? Idk. It didn't sit right with me. - Conclusion commentary:
The conclusion feeling lacking mostly drew from not really feeling like anything was resolved for our character. The story felt rushed - there was ample space and background to build on our character finishing their training and making Flora their home, but it was cut off before we even got to experience a proper resolution.
- Despite those seemingly harsh critiques, it was a really sweet, relaxing experience, which is all I feel it set out to be! This game feels like a little labor of love where the creators most likely wanted to create a space where they saw themselves and others reflected, and I can appreciate that.
