Terrible design. Spent way too much time running in circles, and I'm still not done, can't find the third brain cluster. Only guidance is an arrow that has a fat lot of nothing when I get to where it points, and an objective indicator bwhind a wall I can find no way around. Going to see if there's a youtube walk through just to finish this, WHICH IS SOMETHING I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO! EDIT: Open world/area games work when you can navigate it with little trouble, this is just terrible. I don't like kindergarten hand holding, but a bit more guidence than provided is needed. Just searched youtube. One hour to 100% the map. I'm not wanting to put up with even another 20 min on this. I'm selecting the next mission, and hoping I didn't waste another $7

This is probably the worst sniper related mission I've ever come across. Pros: - None Cons: - Bad case of sniper infestation - Directionless - Outstays its welcome - Lots of backtracking - Bugged enemies that stop mission progress

This mission was an absolute pain in the !@#$ Open ended? Great. Safe rooms? None Endless snipers? !@#$ Wandering around like a drunken sailor trying to find the next objective? Yep Zombies get stuck at spawn point and have to re-start level or checkpoint? Yep, again Things to pick up (letters, and comics..like 16 total) and are all over the !@#$ map hidden? Again, yep Those !@#$ moving hand things? Didn't find a single one. 4 total. Meh. Level of meh playing this map? Super I forced myself to finish this map, it was that much of a grind. Only played it to finish out the story(?). Only play this if you have the season pass.

Useless cosmetic 5hit behind paywalls is something I can live with (although it's undeniably a scummy practice that shouldn't be legal). However, this game's actual content is cut and sold in small portions, costing around 6-9 EUR each. No sane consumer should ever accept this kind of corporate shamelessness. It is time to REBEL against the company with one of the most hypocritical names in the history of corporations. SaaS should be illegal. DRM should be illegal.
Capitalism should be illegal. Corporations shouldn't have more rights than humans.
"It has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime. This DLC episode/mission is a fundamental change from original campaign and previous DLC maps. Original missions were split into three to four chapters, with separate safe rooms and progression. After you completed the chapter, you could heal, rearm, change weapons, perks, etc. This new DLC map "Terminal error" was designed as one huge mission without separate chapters and safe rooms. Just one long mission from beginning to end, combining all mission objectives into one. In original campaign missions, you normally have 1 zombie hand, 1 document, 1 comic and 0-1 heroic actions. This DLC has 11 documents, 4 comics, 4 zombie hands and 2 heroic actions in single mission. It takes about 2 hours to complete whole mission. Since there are no safe rooms, you cannot save your progress and play another time, you have to complete it in one run. This also means that your perks that are "per-run" (e.g enable you to get-up after you've been downed), are less effective. Overall, map design is not bad, it is semi-open map, non-linear progression (you have to backtrack to previous locations a lot), you can diverge or split your group for each objective. You are free to roam and explore most of the map from beginning, you are not limited to corridors. Map includes lot of gauntlets (survive ambush) and arenas, fights in open terrain and indoor combat. It can get messy if your team splits due to shear size of map, and someone starts the gauntlet. Late stage encounters get increasingly harder and complex, hitting you with armoured vehicles, skull cannons, electric grenadiers, lots of heavy elites and a battalion of snipers. For some reason, there really is a lot of snipers in this map. Not the worst designed map in the game, but by far the most frustrating map that I have played throughout the campaign. Mostly due to how long it takes to complete it. EDIT:typos

I personally enjoyed this DLC. I support the devs experimenting with an open world campaign. + Good Story + Well designed environment - Can be tough understanding where to go next.

Pretty good actually. I didn't know if I would like the open-ended approach but it worked out great. Awesome atmosphere and details as well as layout. Gives you lots of options when you play. I think the seasons should be a litter cheaper, so if you're on the fence, you could wait for a sale, Otherwise, an awesome mission that I can't wait to keep going through. Only negative is no saferoom or Chapters to break it up despite it's length :/.

The idea of a open map without checkpoints sounds great until the game spawn zombies behind a closed door and you have to totally restart the mission. This mission also has a ton of snipers in it which are easily the most annoying type of enemy in the game. I honestly don't think I'm going to ever finish this mission because of how infuriating it is. It does have some funny lines from the Z5 core though. Overall I would recommend skipping this one.

Spent 65 quid for the Super Deluxe yet I still have to pay for DLCs to play all the missions... It's fun tho.

I am seeing an Open world campaign map just like Call of duty Modern Warfare III campaign open world maps.
