I ran outside from a thing that then couldn't follow me, and soft-locked myself.

This game is the embodiment of cheap indie horror. Here you are presented with poor visuals, clumsy controls, generic sound effects and music, terrible voice acting, stupid jump scares that often are out of place, annoying chase sequences and the story that is so stupid, bland and banal that it makes one constantly facepalm.
Some effort was definitely put into this amateur project. Unfortunately, the result of this effort is atrocious like in the case of many other indie horror games of similar nature. Should be free to play.

Nice indie game with some jumpscares. Sometimes it gets a little buggy when you are running from the monster but other than that it was a pretty good game. I have a bad memory so the many rooms (who needs a house that big) and remembering which doors I haven't been to yet took me a bit longer to finish haha. I really loved the look of the house and the paintings!
I look forward to the second one!

I played this game for a little over an hour and I like the idea and look of it. It's got a 5/10 with potential for growth.
The Good:
-It has a nicely dark atmosphere.
-There are plenty of things to look at.
-The little jump scares got me twice.
The Bad:
-Movement is choppy and you are very limited to what you can interact with.
-Some doors you have to use a key on about fifteen times before it actually opens.
-The kid. Whats the deal? Unless you move the second you grab the key off the phone stand then you cannot move until he is practically on top of you and you are instantly dead.
-There are no volume or control settings.
-The audio and subtitles are off. You can tell within the first minute of playing when you are reading the subtitles for the first minutes and then out of no where there are two men speaking in Portuguese for a long time. I thought I had accidentally opened some video on my other monitor for a moment.
Overall:
I want to love this game but it just feels horribly off right now. I will definitely come back to it if/when they do some tweaking. I wish Steam gave a mid-range recommendation option but for now I have to give it a thumbs down.
