A gamejam game published as a finished product. There's so many things wrong with this game. Where do I begin? 1. You can turn off music, but not sound effects 2. Using volume mixer doesnt mute game audio (wtf?) 3. No taskbar icon (default unity icon) 4. No tutorial 5. Music comes back on when you start the next level 6. Achievement for just starting the game (the implications lol) 7. No consistent art style 8. No flags for mines 9. No way to reveal mines without moving your character Pros: No bugs as far as i can tell, just really bad game design. If this was more than a dollar I'd ask for a refund. The only reason I bought it was because I like the concept but the implementation was terrible.

A fun adventure in a minesweeper paradise. A Replayable & Reasonably Priced Puzzle Game.

Pros: Cute Cheap Easy to get all achievements. Cons: Not intuitive or user friendly. Use an x to flag mines and use the arrow keys to change where the flag is. Took a VERY long time to figure this out. It would be easy to put a line somewhere about this to let people to know how to flag mines. Conclusion: If you like minesweeper type games it is fun and worth the price. I don't see myself replaying it.
Mixed recommendation. It's casual minesweeper-style game, with several, fixable issues.
Imagine Minesweeper, except instead of mouse, you walk on the map and turn tiles. Turning a mine will result in a health-loss. Also, there are stones (impreachable points) and food (healing). Find all non-mine spots and you find the exit. That's Adventure Minesweeper as a concept and in a nutshell.
Does it work?
Idea is actually alright. It introduces some deviations from the regular Minesweeper tactics. For example, while you can deduce that a certain tile is empty, you might not be able to reach there without some more deduction or going through a known mine-spot. Proper health management is a thing.
A mixed bag
Like in regular Minesweeper, it seems that most maps are random. The first few levels are of an appropriate size but then they blow up to very big ones. Without a story or well-thought out levels, it's not really an adventure. (To be fair, there's one special level, that has no deviations. It seemed that it required a lot of trial and error to beat, though. It was still the best, most interesting level for me.) The player character is a weird slime ball with a single eye. It looks very bored all the time. It also moves quite slowly - too slowly to my taste. It would be nice if the animation could be sped up. For some reaosn, in the special level the speed is higher and in my opinion much better. Angry slime is also quite big - it always hides the tile below it, so that you have to move around to check it. To avoid this issue, it would be useful and make sense if the blob was transparent.
Technical issues
Soundtrack is a single, short, and cheesy song that doesn't fit terribly well in my opinion (you can listen to it in the trailer). You can mute the few sounds and music together but not separately - not a big issue. There is no tutorial or list of controls. Not that it needs much, but I could not figure out how to place flags to mark mine locations. According to the trailer, this feature exists somewhere within the game. Slime is otherwise controlled with WASD and/or arrows. Cursor navigates the menus. Smashing the keyboard after beating the game, I finally found that pressing 'X' lets you place the flag. Alt+Enter makes the game a big window but it's screen-sized. Effectively, only fullscreen is supported. Finally, it's not a real issue but the game uses standard Unity icon and the game is titled UnityBomProject while running. It would be more professional if the title was the game's name and if it had a proper logo, e.g. of a bomb, or of the slime blob that you play as.
Ultimately not recommended
I like Minesweeper games. Sadly, this one has a bit too many issues to be really enjoyable. Most important one is that the blob is very slow, and you sometimes have to wobble around long distances to get to where you want. Faster movement or warping over to explored sections would help with this. I also spent a lot of time looking for the last tiles in a couple of the bigger levels. A zoom to see the whole level would be useful to alleviate this issue. I played about 3.5 hours to beat the 10 levels and the special levels. I think the slow movement speed and not seeing the whole map contributed to about half of this. I'd have liked to see more of the "special" levels. All achievements (for beating each level) worked without issue, so the dev was quick to fix problems initially plaguing the game. Additionally, there's two CGI pictures (of anime-like girls) as level-completion rewards. They are fully dressed, by the way. Super-cheap to begin with, it may be an alright game to buy and play for you, and I sort of enjoyed it. Currently I wouldn't recommend it. However, if it receives proper updates, I could change it to a positive one. ~Twistorian Curator~
