Really sweet game with really nice ambience. It was quite a cosy experience. Only took 90 mins to finish, which is pretty good for these types of games. Beautiful scenery, interesting story. Love it.

game could've had more directions, bro I was struggling with that but overall really fun. sometimes you couldn't interact with things till you did things in a certain order which was slightly annoying. I did you a guide for parts of the game. really enjoyed graphics and puzzles

I've completed Panmorphia 1& 'Enchanted@ and I really enjoyed both of them. The graphics, music and overall gameplay were good quality. The game is all round fun to play. And there is an online walkthrough if the in-game hints are not enough for those trickier parts. I can't wait to play the next one.

I bought this game on sale for US$0.99 and finally got around to playing it today. While it provided ~2.5 h of playtime (pretty good value for cost), its UI was often frustratingly designed, with unresponsive elements and occasional brute-force puzzle solving. I don't often leave negative reviews, but, even after looking up the answers when I got stuck, I still had to try again and again for the game to accept the correct solution. For example, I tried multiple times to place an object to solve a puzzle, but it failed so often that I checked a walkthrough. I was putting the object in the right location; it was just poorly mapped and therefore didn't register with the game until I placed it just so. I also saw that other players were similarly struggling with poor feedback from the game about item interactions -- two endgame puzzles were so frustrating for me that I watched a playthrough and the creator of the video had the same issues with getting the game to recognize that the solution was correct. Navigating back and forth after having unlocked all areas was also arbitrarily painful. While you can toggle on arrow buttons instead of clicking parts of the scenery to move from place to place,
the different forms that you take can't access the same areas, including those that allow you to transform into other forms, so you invariably need to switch multiple times if you want to go between forms that can't access each others' transformation locations (human to cat in order to become bird or fish; fish to bird in order to become cat or human). Even in the bird form, where you can fly up from the bird transformation location and then access several other areas, you're only allowed to fly back up from the fish transformation location
. Finally, some puzzles were designed without regard for conventions of the genre. Some interactables were used for multiple puzzles, other puzzles had no clues at all (relying on random guessing and memorization), and yet other puzzles relied on specific knowledge of the real world that isn't alluded to in-game at all. Yes, everything was solvable, but Panmorphia's design philosophy didn't provide the same sense of satisfaction as other games have. By way of comparison, I've completed The Room and The Room Two. These games were responsive and cleanly designed, with beautiful artwork and interesting puzzles at roughly an equivalent price. They were actually so good that I've been holding off playing the next two installments because I don't want to run out of the great experience that playing them provided. Similarly, Escape Academy, which is a bit pricier, has excellent graphics and compelling narrative and puzzle design that leaves you wanting more. I'll probably eventually play the other two games in the Panmorphia series, since I bought them all at the same time, but my hopes are not high for improved quality between games that were released only a year apart each. In particular, the second installment of this game was released only months after the first. Hopefully others can enjoy this more than I did, but I'd recommend finding better options if you're in the market for a puzzle point-and-click game.
