The levels were fun and challenging with a good difficulty progression. I liked that new animals and objects brought variety and new challenges. Many levels look simple, but required out of the box thinking that thaught me lessons i needed later. Some are real head scratchers. The nature atmosphere sounds were very enjoyable and relaxing, a good mood to accompany the harder thinking. The visuals could do with a bit more variety on the maps, as they all look the same. If you enjoy puzzle games, you'll have a good time - otherwise probably not ;)

Potential is the key word for me when talking about this game. First of all I would like to recommend this game to casual puzzler fans because I think this is a good starting point for someone who is getting into this genre. Look it is not my cup of tea to be honest, good ideas but 95 % of the game is like a tutorial in learning the basics of the game. There is nothing wrong with that, I just found it too easy, there were 3 or 4 head scratchers and few brain freezes but that is all. I like the music and the art style, it is always clear what the goal is in each grid based soko-chase puzzle. The hub world or what ever you wanna call it is ok but zoomed out it looks like a mess so make sure to use scroll mouse button to zoom in. I don't think the mini games between the puzzles benefit this game at all, I don't like leader boards in general but mini games are optional so I guess you can just skip them. I din't skip snake mini game because I was enjoying how all the dogs follow the cat :) This is a casual puzzler that has so many clever ideas. Recommended for casual puzzler fans and people who are getting into this genre.

This is a good, turn-based puzzle game. Very player friendly with multiple undos so you can take your move(s) back at any time. Bonus levels and challenges are optional since the game mechanics are different to the main game. There are at least 15 hours of gameplay. If you attempt all the bonus levels then it will take even longer. Overall rating: 7/10.

Quick Description: -Of Mice and Moggies is a sokoban style puzzle game where your goal is to trap animals. It's a very cute and engaging puzzler that offers a good amount of mechanics and challenging levels. Every animal reacts differently to you approaching them. Some of my favorite puzzles will involve 3 or 4 different animal types. There usually appears to be a simple solution, but often it's a red herring as you realize you need to keep an animal around to help trap a different animal. Most of the puzzles are on the easy to moderate difficulty, w/ a small percentage of the levels being of higher difficulty. There is also 3 different Side Games that you can unlock that have leaderboards. Consensus: -Solid Game (Tier 3 and makes up 35% of my reviews). I really enjoyed my time w/ Of Mice and Moggies. It took me about 5 hrs to complete 100% of the game. I think that's great value for a $7 game that goes on sale several times a year. Headlong Hunt and Mooselutions are probably the two closest puzzle games on the market. Fans of cute, fun, and innovative puzzlers are in for a treat. Pick up this hidden gem and have a great time!

Beautiful puzzle game with a nice clash of cute animals and brutal hunting animations. The game rewards you for finding the best solution with a gold icon but otherwise doesn't lock you out from progressing if you just want to move on. Does a great job of mixing in new mechanics. Completed all but one puzzle (damn you Stonehenge 4). This should be way more popular than it is.

Nice puzzle game where you play as a cat trying to hunt small animals. Mechanics are fun and clearly explained. There are just over 100 campaign levels. which are fairly easy to clear overall, but the game actually records the number of moves you use to complete a level and challenges you to beat it in the listed optimal number of moves. While I'm not a huge fan of this system as I prefer to just solve a puzzle without caring about the number of moves I used, it does add some additional optional difficulty for players are looking for a challenge. On top of that, there is a 'Hall of Fame' where your profile name will enter after beating all campaign levels, and listed next to your name would be the total number of moves you used to achieve it, so there's some extra incentive to beat levels using the minimum number of moves. While the game doesn't have Steam achievements as yet, you get various in-game badges after completing certain levels. The level-select menu also looks pretty cool. Apart from the standard puzzle levels, there are three types of minigames you can unlock and play: Snake, Maze and Sokoban. I didn't care much for these minigames as I thought they added very little value to the game, but they're still a feature, I guess. What really matters is the presence of an in-game level editor where you can directly publish levels you've created, so you can try your hand at some community-made levels after beating the campaign, or even create your own levels if you're up for it. The level editor also features a kind of animal that isn't found in the campaign for some reason. It seems that animal was added as an update after the game was published, which explains its absence from the campaign, though it would have been nice if the devs updated the campaign by adding some levels featuring that animal into it, though I guess that might mess with the existing in-game achievements by players. To conclude, I would rate the game somewhere between a 7 and 7.5 out of 10. Not a masterpiece, but a game with a cute little concept, charming pixel art, a good amount of content plus a level editor which makes it worth playing if you're fan of puzzle games, or if you're looking to try one, as I find it pretty accessible for people inexperienced with puzzle games because the levels are relatively easy to solve unless you're aiming for the optimal number of moves.

This game looks casual but the puzzles are well made and difficult. Most of the time I need to think backwards, like "in order to block the rabbit where should I chase the mouse to?". It works at the beginning, but I am still stuck on later levels. I was only given 3 tokens to skip levels they are far less enough. I only wish some hints or solutions can be given in the game. Levels are well made, I always wonder if they are created by devs, or generated by AI after putting in the rules. Anyway, recommend for those who like sokoban, but way too difficult for me.

Love letter for Sokoban fans. I especially enjoyed the leaderboards and optimizing move counts for solutions. Has a really good level editor, which is a good place to dip your toes in if you have ever wanted to create your own puzzles but don't have a starting point. The developer is very friendly.

I was a little skeptic of paying $10 for this game but it's very polished, A classic box moving game with nice aesthetics and a lot of content. I've probably not even explored 10% of the game with the hour I played going after all the options in the level creator. There even being a level creator in a small indie game like this is very impressive. The snake mini-game was fun (although I beat the record but it didn't get saved to the leaderboard), hopefully there are more mini-games that unlocks further in :D The leaderboard bug is really the only complaint I have. Quality stuff, a lot of options, no bugs and you can play with or without a tutorial (game is pretty self explanatory so I didn't need the tutorial). 8/10

It is a fun puzzle game with cute art and chill music. Till now I've found that the puzzles aren't too difficult to logically figure out if you aren't aiming for the gold but I like that there is a skip puzzle button in case you are truly stuck. New mechanics have been introduced regularly to keep things fresh and I've also unlocked 1 fun mini-game too. The fact that it already has a level editor at launch and runs on Linux are a few other great bonuses
