Well, it's a nice speedrunning game if you don't mind some competition, I am not a huge fan of forced leaderboards myself, that said, it was still nice exploring the maps and trying to optimize them - the game also has some kickass music which really helped (can we get the ost?). In terms of casual content, you would have to rely on the achievements, there are collection challenges for each map, including no-ability runs, so you can kinda get some replay value out of it without trying to beat the highscores. There are 6 maps, you can generally complete them in 2 minutes on the first try, beyond that you would have to compete for the rankings. However, some of the maps have 2 or even 3 paths that also have multiple forks, so it has a little bit of replay value in terms of experimenting. I would say the map design was very good for the most part, out of those 6 I liked 4 of them, one was really bad though, the one with the belts, personally I did not find it very enjoyable because it's more of a beginner trap. I didn't have any big issues with the platforming, mostly I just had to get accustomed to the height on the jump, it does not look like he jumps very high, but you can actually cover a pretty substantial distance, especially if you holding the run and dash in the air. The character has the sprint meter, dash charges, and the hovering bar - so pretty standard kit I would say, nothing too complicated. One thing I didn't like is that game changes the rules on each map, so if you were grinding the high scores on one map, your timing on another map could be off due to muscle memory (very strange design choice, I never seen devs do it).
Pros:
(+) Most of the maps had interesting design features, including optional paths, sometimes up to 3. Overall enjoyable aesthetic, quick gameplay, and nice music. (+) Good achievement support, you can replay the maps casually for collection or no-ability runs.
FeedBack:
Random Feedback: - it would be nice to have a coin number like 20/70, at least during the pause so you know if you missed some. Maybe you could lower the reset timer in the options like down to 2 or even 1 second. On a side note, with the game being black&white, it would be pretty neat to have some mono filters, just color swaps for the world. Lines and Punishment - I wish some paths on the maps were more viable, or more competitive I should say. I will use the Plaza for example, I get that the upper path should be the best one because it requires more precision, but if you decide to navigate on the bottom, you gain like 10-20 seconds, so it's not even remotely viable, you could even make that left wall on the edge path more interesting instead of just collection (I would also recommend a door at the start of the stage where the gate is, just for new players). On a factory, there is one path that is definitely much better than the other 2 because it saves you the dash charge, same with the sky map. Overall Thoughts: 7/10 Fun maps, not a ton of content, but also not very expensive. I imagine a speedrun game with rankings is always going to intimidate people, but if you just want to navigate some neat maps and grind a few achievements, it's alright.
