This game has eaten my life whole with an unkillable run. 11/10, you will not want your time back.

Any game where you fight your landlord is a good game. 10/10 This is also the game that inspired Balatro.

This is the cheapest way to feed my crippling gambling addiction.

Good variety, several endgame builds, challenging difficulty scaling but still do-able. Most of the achievements are actually pretty fun to get in endless modes. But the 777-Wins achievement is arduous and tedious. Would recommend to most players, unless they are achievement perfectionists.

It's a slot machine with roquelike deck building mechanics. A simple and fun game.

Awesome game in general. If I have to point something out specially are the achievements. They really extend the game's lifespan, giving you interesting challenges that make you play the same game in a completely different way.

Fun experience overall. Effort was put into balancing builds and odds. Discovering new combinations, synergies and funny references is about 50% of the fun, the other 50% being the deck building part of it (destroying symbols and skipping carefully to have better odds, gathering symbols that may or may not align with your current "deck" in hopes that you'll get better combos, etc). I like the concept, but I feel it gets old quick. Surely a good one for people who enjoy collecting achievements, as there are a lot of those.

Luck be a Landlord is a really fun lightweight gambling roguelike in which you pay your landlord by gambling. Yeah, that's right. Not gonna lie, this game is quite addictive as there are many fun combinations and strategies, however... It gets a bit stale in the later parts. I swear to God I had a 3 hour run building my Amethyst, Dame and Golden Arrow symbols. That's probably because the target score is not exponential (or close to exponential) such as it is with Balatro, and from my experience I haven't blown my score to the huge scientific notation numbers like it is done in other similar games. Also, I might be wrong about this, but it doesn't seem like I actually unlock anything between runs, it's almost always the same symbols, items, so it gets boring super fast. Fun for a while, but it gets stale. If you're feeling itchy to gamble in a Steam Sale, this game might be a nice choice
