I've had this game for only 2 days and i'm already at about 10 hours of play time. it's like if a slot machine was made out of trading cards. very easy to run on a potato too lol. unique and really cool game, dude!

-Really bad graphics -Very hard-to-read pixelated text -Doesn't do anything to try to help you feel the 'umph" of scoring like Balatro does -It seems to have a lot of reviews though, so must be doing something right

There are many doubters but this game honestly nails down the roguelite genre better than 80 to 90 percent of others on the market. Its not made to be infinitely replayable (even though you will find yourself playing for longer than expected), but manages to make fun content that lasts for many joyous hours. In my opinion learning this game was even more fun than balatro for example. Whatever it be give it a chance because the experience can often be underselled while ever new roguelite brands itself as the next best thing. Entertain yourself with finding all the builds, and ways to save runs. Look for outs on "dead" runs thats where the most fun is. And then try to get the integer bit limit as well lol. I can't ever hate the game because there was more mileage in the concept that can't be replicated by juicing it with endless "content". Fish build ftw !!

ROLL- 1-2: Lose! 4-6: Win! You need ~30-40% luck and 60-70% game knowledge to win on the higher difficulty levels. It is another rogue-like where every run is not winnable. But it's still fun, as it has countless variation. If you need more, there are plenty of mods to add loads of content! The achievements in this game are a meme. Don't play this expecting to obtain all of them, as they are a grindy luck dependent mess to obtain. Go into this expecting to play a rogue-like slot machine, and you are sure to have fun! This is truly a pillar of the modern meme and gambling rogue-likes. Cheers!

It's got very simple graphics, but the game play is a lot of fun and very addictive. After playing for a total of 10 hours I can say I have totally broken the game. I was rolling millions per spin (best spin was +3.4e5 or 21,561,223) with over 100 Million in the bank. Basically I broke the game so badly it stopped being able to depict the cash I was making in any legible way. Great Fun! I recorded the session and may update this review with the YouTube video of how I did it, if I decide to post it in the coming days. The spiffing Brit did a video on this game, but his strategy was just holding me back! Leave me thumbs up/comment if you'd like to see the video.

A positive review, but only just. There are times when a slot machine roguelite can be a lot of fun. Select symbols that synergize, and you get to watch the coins pile up. RNG is less important than you'd expect on spins, and more relevant in the symbols you're offered. Past the 6th of 20 difficulty levels, the game adds an extra element of "essences" or goals to hit within games to provide additives and multipliers to certain strategies. However, at 18 hours I already feel as if I've seen everything that there is to be seen in this game. There's more that could have been added, but the developer moved on too fast to other projects. Past floor 20, the only thing left to do are achievements that are either an unreasonable grind or straight rng. And unlike other deckbuilders, there aren't enough viable strategies or game variety to allow for significant replayability. It's worth playing, but I recommend waiting for a steam sale, as the total content doesn't really justify the 9.99 USD purchase price.

Good mindless fun. Decent on the steam deck, but I need to adjust the resolution each time I start the game

A casual RNG deck building game where the deck is your slot machine. Decent game overall, but with no real progression seemingly other than moving up floors for a harder challenge as it doesn't seem to have any unlockables other than floors. Would recommend, but there are other games such as Balatro that just does this concept better due to the progression feeling and better combo gameplay.

Luck be a Landlord is a pared-down deckbuilding game built around slot machine mechanics and served as an inspiration for Balatro, my all-time favorite deckbuilder. While it might initially feel more random than similar titles, it becomes more controllable the longer you play. Overall, it’s a solid recommendation for deckbuilding fans looking for something fresh.

Super fun! Because your options and power-ups are randomized every game, you can't really get too bogged down in any kind of "min-maxing" mindset and are forced to adapt your play style with every single slot spin. I eventually figured out which strategies I preferred to go for when playing, but the random nature of what you get made every single attempt a challenge.
