I played this on Oculus, and I instantly fell in love with it. Discovering the responses of the world, like the bugs or the regrowing trees is very fun in an adventurous way. A little story guides you well through the game.
The game controls are smooth and not annoying, like seen in a lot of VR experiences and games. For example, the pointer for selecting menu points and stuff becomes visible only if youre pressing a button (A / X on Oculus). How many youtube videos did I accidentally klick just because the controls of the video player were crappy! But this way, youre more in control what you select.
This was a nice, calm and fun experience, and Im really curious about Juniper Sky!

Played this on the Index and it worked perfectly. In fact, 'perfect' describes every element of this thing. I felt such acute glee when I saw the tiny village spread out before me. I want more! So much more! It took me about 20 minutes to finish, which doesn't seem like much for a $3 game, but I didn't mind at all. I dearly hope we get more stuff from this group.

A cute, short little find-the-object game in an adorable little town to explore.
A lot of small details to enjoy visually too!
At the end it teases a possible sequel, which just from the preview looks like it'll be gorgeous as well!
Simply beautiful. The prize is fair since you finish it in less than an hour, but you'll love it. The environment and the artistic part in total is excellent, the controllers work perfectly and I hope to see more in the future

A visually pleasing treasure hunt. You are sent on a mission to find hidden objects, seeing the very lively place of Eklan Tor along the way. Fantastic game and I am excited to see what comes next.

Written by my 8 year old: good
dad's opinion: We LOVE Eklan Tor. My kid even woke up from a dream once where he was one of the hidden animals. The structure, design, and whimsy of the game make Eklan Tor both incredibly immersive and consistently fun. Like other works of great art, Eklan Tor uses the constraints of the medium to evoke joyous emotion (while making a great game).
Eklan Tor is magic.

Short but very good VR 'hidden objects' game. Beautiful graphics and style. Left me wanting more, and I look forward to what this Dev does next.
Looking at the flat screen previews does not convey the charm of this free gem.

Wonderful little Treasure
Played with the HTC Vive and it plays great.
This is a sort of a Hidden Treasure game and the creatures are fantastic.
Reminds me of the Game, A Curious Tale of Stolen Pets.
Great for the entire family. Hope the creators will expand with different levels and with different worlds,
Anything is possible with this wonderful game.
Thank you

Okay so this is my honest review. I really liked the atmosphere and the cute little town. But I really expected more than a 13 minute game. I wish there where more than one place to explore. I would love to go to more place and explore. I got it when it was 33% off so I Got my moneys worth. But I really wanted more than just the one city to explore. But other than that it was a funny little experience so I give it 9/10 just because it was so short. And if you are a first time VR user I really recommend to try this out. It is super easy to learn and fun to explore.

I bought this because I'm obsessed with "tiny world" games, whether it be something like this, Moss, etc. This is an absolute labor of love by the developers. You can really tell they put their hearts into this when creating it. The attention to detail is incredible, and between the diversity of the townspeople, what they're doing, and all the different interactive / moving things, it really lends itself to immersing you in a tiny town that truly feels alive.
If I had to pick a downside for the game, it would be it's total length. Given the price, I personally think it's worth it. I was able to beat it in just 30 minutes, but that 30 minutes was well worth it. It gave me the same feeling I had when I played Moss for the first time, which was basically me yelling out loud how cute and adorable everything is and being absolutely overjoyed about it all.
TL;DR:
Insanely adorable and detailed smol world labor of love. I died from cuteness. It's 100% worth it if you like tiny worlds.
